Based on the life of real-life Hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Major, the film, aims to show how this valiant soldier saved the lives of numerous hostages before being martyred by the activists who wreaked havoc in the Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai, India on the 26th of November, 2008.

This Seriously felt like the only intellectual conversation between actors in recent times. The reason why people are drawn to this movie is because of what Sesh said, that first 30 mins of the movie where they've shown us how normal Major Sandeep sir was as a person, all those sweet silly things he has done during his childhood and adolescence were what bound our hearts to him and left us all heartbroken in the end. We all know how bravely he put forward his own life for Saving so many people that day, but after watching this movie it felt like a personal loss, more than a personal loss. Salute to Major Sandeep and all the brave lives that perished on that unfortunate day and to all the soldiers that sacrificed their lives for ours 🙏🏻 and thanks to this entire team for making this amazing movie possible. I still feel this movie is way underrated.

Best film I have seen in past ten years. I am 63 + year old but couldn't control my emotions .Tears did roll out couple of times. The film has captured passion of Sandeep Unnikrishnan so well, naturally with the help of Sandeep' parents guiding and Adivi Sesh picking every finer point. As regards Adivi Sesh, only one word - "Brilliant". Adivi has carried this movie so beautifully , as a young man , as a Commando and overall a very sensible and supporting with all closed to him.
Adivi Sesh, I would like to see you more in Hindi too. And, finally a big thanks to charming Mahesh Babu for making and showing such a well made, inspiring movie to all movie lovers eap. to us nationalist Indians.

Major helped a soldier from gun fire and choose to follow terrorist. He decided to face all 4 terrorists alone to protect remaining NSG soldiers and innocent people. There is no need for Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan to go up alone, but he wanted to eliminate terrorists to protect the people. Even his last words were thrilling. "Do not come up. I will handle them". Brave heart. Salute to Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and all the movie artists including Adivi Sesh. Actor Adivi Sesh portrayed Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan 100% accuracy. Thank you very much. I watched in AMC theater, Houston, USA. Best Movie ever.
