Just a side note on the camera-work: If you move the focus back a bit, and film side-to-side rather than up-and-down, it'll stop the dizziness effect.

I imagine if you walked in there you would move your head and eyes around and up and down like that to try to take it all in. And yet when done with a camera it is slightly dizzying because of the narrower field of vision.

I love the music,it is wonderful,it reminds me of a wonderful french movie. This little cottage is so cute,i love that garden...everything is great...the only thing i would like to comment is. Could you move your camera slower? Take your time, we could see more of the rooms. I would have loved to see more,but you were very fast. I loved the video anyhow,it was beautiful🍁🍂

I think it's already been extended, the kitchen and larger bedroom look like an add on to the back of the building. It was probably originally just a barn.

It’s a very lovely home. It’s puzzling, however, as to the very small shower and no toilet downstairs. Why not a 3/4 bath?
There is plenty of room there for a larger shower and a toilet downstairs :)
@@suzanneinfranceestateagency it does seem odd to not have a wc and commode in the downstairs bath. Should have skipped the shower and included those two necessities.

How much did this property sell for? It would have been nice if you had mentioned the location, what is the nearest town etc. it is a beautiful home.
It sold for the full asking price and is near Mortain (50140) in the Manche area of Normandy.

It is charming and cozy, but I find myself yearning for more space and the convenience of a garage attached to the house. Why are cottages so much less expensive in France than they are in England? Is it Brexit? This is a real bargain, and would make a great vacation home! It is affordable for middle income Americans. The temptation exists. . . .
I'm wondering this also. I live in Ireland 🇮🇪 and this cottage would cost double or even treble that asking price. RIP off Republic. It gives me hope that I can put a roof over my head not in my own country but elsewhere in the EU.
Because many French people have left the countryside for more populated areas, there's a huge glut of houses and chateaus on the market. Also, they prefer more newer houses instead of renovated stone ones. They say that trend might be reversing, though.
@zippyMufo Well it looks like I better act fast if the trend is reversing. In the countryside in Ireland families are in areas for generations and keep land & houses within families. Outsiders rarely get a look in.

I'm also wondering if Brexit has caused many British who had second vacation homes in France to dump them on the market. Prices have always been good but they've definitely dropped even more in the last year.

Except, in places where great innovation is happening and homeowners have great funds for buying the new and pricy.
Not seeing much new in Spain or Italy.
Germany and Sweden perhaps are most innovative.

New house building has increased again across France. I personally, still prefer a traditional house if it has been well renovated.
