The firefighter made a fundamental flaw. He left his Haaligan bar where he found the victim. Never leave your search tool in the risk. You might need on your way back out.

Yeah, if I find a victim I don't care about my tool, chances are i'm not even using it to search while in that room. I care about getting the victim out of the environment.
