Sorry to see your disaster with the gate. One quick thing to try would be to put the steering to full left lock then move slowly forward, this would swing the tail end of the camper away from the gate.

Great video guys, I have been watching your channel on and off for a good while now and didn't realise you did one in Congleton! I live on the estate opposite Heath Farm! (saw my house from your drone footage, never thought that would happen watching your videos haha) Plenty of Chinese takeaways here for sure. You went past one of the best around Cheshire at minute 5:38 ! The forum with the big car park is also a great one! I think there is 9 from what I can count in my head. Shame you came on a day where places were closed. Saturdays can be a buzzing little town with great nightlife. The Lion and Swan just up from DV8 allows dogs and is really nice! The Olde kings arms is about to re-open under new owners, That would of been perfect for food and the dog! Come back next year and it'll be a different place, the market area is being rebuilt with bars and plenty of food options!

Congleton is awesome. We keep our boat at scholars Green just down the road towards Kidsgrove and have walked into Congleton many times. Plus it has a spoon for some cheap ale sampling! Lovely place. Enjoy!

yes the word over hang is going to haunt mark for some time now as well as the amount its going to cost to repair 😓🥰🥰👍🏻

Hi Lisa and Mark , that was painful watching that gate dig deeper with every movement ‘ 😮 on the Chinese of things we did a couple of nights at Bolton Le Sands and we used the Sea View Chinese smashing meal well worth a visit and we are quite fussy about our Chinese meals . We have tried a few between the Isle Of Wight to Thurso on our travels … ATB

sorry to see betty damaged but at least your both ok hope the bills kinder than you think and it doesnt spoil it for you on the road again im in australia and wouldnt miss them theyre never dull and finish way too quick but i have to have my fix now lol lots of love 😘👍

Such a shame about the gate accident. Our MH developed stress cracks and they were repaired under warranty. Only the area where the cracks were was painted and I can’t tell where it was done and I’m very picky about stuff like that so you might be able to get a localised repair done and hopefully not have to have the whole side painted🤞🤞
Hi Dave, it would be difficult to get it to match properly. We are thinking of installing another locker door or exterior shower

Hi Paul, it was an horrific feeling at the van just stopped and wouldn’t move ! Could have been worse though if it caught the back corner fibreglass panel. Thanks for you comment

@@NorthernersonTour not sure how bad it is until the next video. Someone suggested to us to put big decal stickers over it to cover it up. Might be a cheaper option but don't know if it will work.

Also if you do come to Tewkesbury we have a few Chinese’s too and if you want the best custard slice parsons a bakery chain down my way do amazing ones with jam in and they are the absolute best xxx

Ah guys am sure its repairable adventure marks ,the rear of your van will kick out about 2 ft on full lock ,it can also happen when cars try to sneak past when your turning right they don't always allow enough room for the rear swing out as many are not aware so watch the right turns with traffic sneaking past on nearside left ..
Mark really needs to try the THE GOLDEN WOK Chinese in Hornsea over on the east coast just south of Bridlington it’s the best one we have ever found

Oh no!! It’s the worst nightmare when you damage your van, but at least you are both safe and whilst it’s no consolation I’m sure you will be able to get it fixed and like new again. Hope you find someone who can help at a reasonable price. 😢

Gutted about the damage to your van but nothing that can't be fixed.
we always find out that people live near to where we where when we have left lol the damage is very costly indeed
What’s behind the scrape/hole?
You could put a gas bbq hook up there or any outlet or locker box.
I did it in a caravan and cut the hole out for bbq outlet and no one knew. Saved loads.
we where going to do this but can’t because of the size of locker that would be needed to cover the damage and the curve of the edging is also in the way 🥲

If it’s a full panel replacement it’s not gonna be cheap. Ask body shop if they can fill it, paint it and sticker over it?

How do Lisa and Mark I've yet to try a pub stop but deffo going to do one. That one you did was a bargain. Like you said, most sites now are charging 30 quid a night so a stop and a meal for 20 quid is an absolute bargain. With all the chinese chippies it was obviously gonna be Mark's idea of heaven. @@NorthernersonTour If that was me i would buy a self adhesive plastic louvre cover you can buy them off ebay they are 256mm long and 86mm wide and i would stick two of them over the dent they are £11.49 each and they just look like a air vent cover
