- We finally make it across the border to the Northern Territory! 🌴
After 24 days of free camping in The Kimberley it was finally time to move on. Hitching up and leaving Buttons Crossing which is right on the banks of the Ord River in Kununurra, we traverse the Ivanhoe Crossing one last time before crossing into the NT 500 odd k's up the road. We start off by exploring Edith Falls in the Nitmiluk National Park, a sunrise start ensures that we are able to enjoy the natural beauty of Edith Falls with not another person in sight. We also collect our huge postage haul which has been waiting for us at Katherine Post Office for weeks now. Another highlight was checking out the Katherine Hot Springs right in town, what a gem of a place and perfect for a refreshing cool off to escape the heat 😀

Loving the vids. We're in the process of building our new troopy now and heading off in the not to distant future. Make sure you call into Litchfield NP and enjoy the waterholes throughout and before you get into Darwin suss out Berry springs for another fantastic swim then a stop in on the way out of there at the pub for a drink or a meal. Ever down the gold coast way be cool to have a surf with the family. Enjoy your travels.

We got these towels from Adairs a few years ago. They are Turkish cotton which are super handy for traveling because they are light weight and dry quickly 😊
