Ha ha ha - you are just like us - happiness in no or few humans -
Just had an awesome week camping in Burrum Heads on a private camp site- one other old couple and their dog with a mad off-road setup and the wife and I + 2 wild sausage dogs off lead 10/10
Love the channel and keep enjoying this awesome country!
Haha yep that is us for sure! Oh wow that sounds unreal! 👌👌
Woohoo. Swimming, camping, touring and cooking tips. Can we see some Thermie cooking? I’m sure that’ll sell it to my wife. Husband and sons and max keen for the nomadic Parkes life.
Ha! The thermie has been the mvp for this trip! 👏👏
Great content
Lovely trip Awesome adventure
Me too , don't like crowds
The song 🎵 at the end is beautiful 😍
Greetings from south africa 🇿🇦 😀
Thanks again Yusuf! So happy that you enjoyed that one and thanks again for joining us from South Africa! 🙏🏻😎🤙
Bitter Springs certainly looks wonderful. 🙂 Did the girls ever see any turtles? 🐢
Awesome place mate! Super relaxing! Coco said she saw a turtle
on the last morning but no one else did and we have no video evidence so I guess it didn’t happen 🫣😆🤔
@@SeaUsRoam I believe her. 🙂
Wow those springs looked good! Did you end up seeing any turtles?
Lily
It was so nice for a swim everyday 😊 Coco saw one tiny turtle 🐢
Man, you gotta pinch yourselves at times on this journey, at what you encounter. I'd be curious to know if it was one major trigger or many that culminated in your decision to embark on this epic adventure.
The amount of energy and planning you guys had to put into cutting the ties to your everyday comfortable life, and transition into what what you're experiencing now, had to be daunting.
Was it a tough sell to convince your daughters to to go all in on this?
Yes it’s been amazing that’s for sure. We had originally planned a big US trip in 2020, but stuff happened, so we decided to have a big break from work and do an Aussie version. The kids were onboard from day one, we’ll probably do a video chatting about this specifically as it’s something we are often asked 😊🙏🏻 Thanks Steve!
hi we are really enjoying your videos we have just purchased a van the same as yours without bunks..looking to head off next year. couple of questions my husband is keen to know what sort of electric brake system you have also what brand are your chairs they look super comfy and light. and what plan are you using for internet access? and how is the coverage.
we can't wait for your next video. this is making us want to go now 😅 but have to wait for our van to arrive.
Hi Judy! Thanks for your comments 😊 Exciting times ahead, congrats! We have the Redarc Towpro Elite brake controller, seems to do the job well enough so no complaints there. Our chairs are from Zorali and Naturehike, yes super comfy and fold down compact which was important for us. And we’ve just given Telstra the flick which felt amazing and are using Starlink for internet which has been awesome. Just keep in mind for Starlink it runs off 240v so it’s a little power hungry running thru the inverter, and you also have the extra satellite unit to carry around 😎
@@SeaUsRoam thanks so much for that info we are grateful..yes we can't wait to hit the road and you have given us some great ideas and tips on where to go. Really enjoyed all your tips on cooking setting up the annexe storage loving it you guys are amazing 👏
@@Judy-qc4fp thank you so much we really appreciate it 🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi what was the song at the end
It’s called Better Times, I can’t remember the artist right now but it’s definitely a cool chilled beat hey 👌😎👌😎
Agree Mataranka was a massive let down. Way to many older people having a bath 👎🏻
Yeah we weren’t too sure what to expect but it definitely didn’t have a peaceful friendly vibe like Bitter Springs.
