Such a shame that most people don’t know these guys. Super underrated and really talented. They have a lot of great songs.
One of my favorite hard rock bands
This is a Japanese Metalcore/Alternative Metalcore band that dropped their first album in 2009. They have done soundtracks and opening sequence music for multiple animes. My favorite songs from them are Final Destination, Mayday, Envy, and Remember. Their initial shared interest and inspiration was a Nu-Metal band called "Sevendust".
Really? That's cool to hear - I was thinking earlier if I tried to sing Coldrain's vocals, I'd sound like Sevendust's singer. Small world.
The metalcore breakdown was fire. Never heard of these guys before. Always love hearing new things

@@PeeWeeGerman1313 I was going to say if you did you might have heard them without realizing cause a few of their songs are used in a few different anime for example their song mayday was used as a opening theme for the anime fire force.
Ah nice. I never heard of that though. I'm a big gore and horror fan myself
I would recommend checking out Mayday by them next if you want to hear one of their heavier tracks.

Coldrain is from Japan. They were the opener for Electric Callboy in Stuttgart, Germany in February. Unfortunately, I was stuck in a traffic jam on the Autobahn... and I missed them. The people next to me told me, that they sounded very good live... 😢.

"MAYDAY" being their most popular song. They really are awesome. Very similar to the band VAMPs. I really hope you guys do more Coldrain and even get into more JMetal. A reaction to some VAMPs would be amazing.

BIG seems to be one of their more 'tame' songs.
these guys have J or K Rock influences imo. (actually based in the 80's 😉)
melodic parts like pop mixed with up beat hard rock and metal elements.

The song structure seems to me a little wild and confusing sometimes but i enjoy their sound though. ❤🔥
I would say it's more diverse. But somehow always staying true to being Rock and never going too far into pop elements.

Morning guys! I liked this. It's different from what I listen to. But I liked his voice/the sound. Pretty good😊🤓
Try New Dawn of theirs. It will spank you so hard. It is heavy af. And yes. They are from Japan. So LP is very influential. Asians grew up on LP and we can't get enough of it. Even Crystal Lake's Ryo credited LP. Chester has inspired many musicians in Asia.
