Tf2 Soldier is pretty Awesome. You can do things like tf2 rocket jump, tf2 airshot compilation, and tf2 soldier montage. I decided to spend ONE MONTH as ONLY SOLDIER to get good at soldier tf2. Not demoknight tf2, not engineer gaming, but soldier in the game team fortress 2. It may be similar to TF2 100 days of Spy elmaxo! This is a tf2 challenge video inspired by elmaxo sniper tf2 elmaxo phlog pyro (ew stinky). This is not the quest for a 100 killstreak, this is I played soldier for one month I love team fortress 2, But this tf2 challenge sure was hard! Enjoy!
TF2, Team Fortress 2, was developed and published by Valve Corporation on October 10, 2007. TF2 has a variety of characters, my favorite being Engineer, including engineer, scout, pryo, spy, heavy, medic, demoman, and pyro. This is like Meet The Sniper, Meet The Scout, Meet The Pyro, Meet The Spy, Meet The Medic, Meet The Demoman, Meet The Heavy, and Meet The Engineer.

Soldier is simultaneously a basic bitch class with a terribly low skill floor, but also one of the most complex classes to master with arguably one of the highest skill ceilings in the game. It’s a testament to the insane depth of game design.

Something that got me better at soldier was rocket jumping surprisingly. It helped me learn rocket placement and timing of when I need to shoot a rocket.

we all get better with practice, I was really bad at just playing the game in general, Projectile classes didn't help me at all, but once I got the hang of it, I felt like an actual high-experienced player. One day, you'll feel the same way with enough practice.
If I have one thing to say, don’t get tilted by us pyro mains. Bait out an air blast, and then take us out. Don’t have a mental breakdown like this poor dude
Every time you got bent over and killed by a pyro spamming rmb it made every “MR. BEASTTTTTTTTTT” all that much sweeter.
It can be said that the good only exists when the bad does too, and personally I think that every bad moment serves to make the good moments even better.

Ok i just found out of this channel recently so i dont know about any drama or stuff that was going on in your life or "game life" but i can say one thing for sure... I loved every single bit of this video.
There's deep character development. There's friendship. There's backstabbing, improvement, dedication, love, hate, anger, happiness. So much emotion and determination rolled into one video for something that I think everyone who plays tf2 should strive for; visible improvement.
I loved seeing the before and after of where your jumping skills were in the past and how far you had come at the end of the 30 days. Rocket jumping is a reward, not just a feature or a gameplay mechanic. It's always been there, in the background. Behind the nice visuals and the cheap menus is a far more rewarding system than all the hats, all the austrailium weapons, and all the funny moments you'll come across in tf2.
Rocket jumping isn't valuable, but to me it's priceless. And so was this video. Thank you.

also make 1 month of playing only pyro (not grinding to hale's own flamethrower so you can play different styles) and see if you still hate the class then.

This started off as "Spending a month to git gud" to "Spending a month cheesing strange weapons" really quickly lmao. You should do another one where you focus on improving your skills, it feels like the main goal was forgotten
This is surprisingly inspiring. A few weeks before I'd started trying to make myself stick to playing scout to practice aim, but it's been really discouraging and my extremely fragile self-esteem cannot stand getting single-digit scores each match. It's been so discouraging, I haven't touched the game in a couple weeks (also, life got in the way). Once the "life" thing clears up, I'm gonna jump back in, and I'll be thinking of this video every time I feel tempted to default back to medic. Thanks, Zenith.

I’ll say this if you hate pyro so much than maybe do this video again, but with pyro (and also don’t lock yourself to one primary by going for a hales own) think you’ll find the class is much more flexible and fun than you think especially with the dragons fury as a massive way to mitigate pyros weaknesses

Honestly pyro is one of the most fun classes in the game with the combos and other shenanigans you can pull, im glad pyro seems to be getting more respect as an actual good class recently (they are still pretty weak tho) with less people complaining about them, at this point the only people that complain about pyro at this point are dumbass soldiers that dont know how to use spash and different rockets timing.

29:01 its because the game checks to see if the explosion has a direct line of sight to the target. The middle of the explosion did not have a line of sight due to that wall there thus dealing no damage.

7:10 The reason this jump is harder is that your flying toward the ground alot faster than it feels like. The previous pogo quite literally, doesnt LOOK like it causes you to fall FASTER than your moving forward, but it does. You gotta look farther forward and fire a little early

I love playing Pyro and having staring contests with Soldiers who have either seen me hit reflects or don't want to chance it. It's so funny.
It was very karmic to watch Pyros present the only significant challenge to him after he admitted to basically ruining any game he joined half the time.

I am so sorry you went up against so many bad Pyro mains. Please understand that not all Pyro mains are simpletons or jerks out to get you. There are good helpful wonderful Pyro Mains out there and when they flank or are flanked, they are great team players. I really hope you meet some Pyro mains that give you a leg up and are decent people, so you know that they are not all like that.

While I’m happy for the outcome of this challenge it makes me quite sad to see how the journey went. At the start when you said you partook this challenge to get better at soldier I thought this was going to be a 47 minute video on personal growth and change, but you really ended up hyperfixated on the hale’s own to the point where I feel you not only forsook the original intent but considering you had an entire section of the video titled “pain” and you eventually resorted to “efficient” tactics to get to that kill count (which wouldn’t accurately portray that the 8500 kills were a result of your improved skill) it had some bad consequences on your mental health as well.

I dont know if you read comments on your old videos, but this was inspirational. For moments where you felt burned out, and still stuck with it, is the most amazing thing ive ever seen.
