he authenticity and humanity in your street photography is so refreshing. It's like a window into the soul of the city.

Hi, which lens do you think is the best in low light situation? Which autofocus is faster and precise? This one or the ef 50 mm 1.8? I already own the R6 with the adapter and I don't know which one to buy. Thank you :) Emanuela

I am interested to hear what people think about this. I share your passion, and I love taking photos in Soho too. However, I always make an effort not to show people's face. If I went there to enjoy my time after a hard day, I would personally prefer not to end up in a CZcams video for eternity on a channel that has several tens of thousands of followers. This seems like non-consensual street photography to me. Am I the only one concerned about this?

You can photos from public places of people in public , if you are genuinely fussed by this you should complain to just about any business / council for cctv

@@bigish2100 Thanks, although I disagree with your points. CCTV, as the name implies, is closed-circuit. There are regulations for the storage and distribution of CCTV footage, which alone makes a huge difference, but I also benefit from CCTV, because it serves my security. You have a point about public spaces, but I think Mike is doing something else at 1:38 for instance. The guy is actually working, and Mike walks up to his window and takes a photo of him without his consent. What if I told you that I took photos of you like that, and I not only keep them on my hard drive but also upload it to CZcams? Btw, I love the fact that the face is scraped off on your profile pic. :)

Hey Cole! Thanks for commenting, that’s a very interesting point you’ve raised.
I am aware that sometimes street images involve people that are not aware the photo is being taken. But that’s the nature of street photography of course, candid photography is what it’s all about.
Posting it on CZcams is another point all together but I never like to showcase people in a bad light. The guy in the shop
Working is something million’s of people will see when they wonder around china town so I feel the photo isn’t showing anything inappropriate. Posting the image and clip on CZcams just exposes it to more people who might never get to go to London.
Of course, this is all down to the photographer, If I feel uncomfortable about a photo, it won’t get posted. It’s all respect.
Hope this gives you an insight into my thinking. Thanks for watching and commenting ✌🏻
