- The ceremony should NOT replace what should be celebrated. There is a pandemic of people getting into marriage without counting the cost. We cannot prepare and plan for the wedding ceremony while we neglect and take no deep thought for the Marriage itself that is being celebrated.The marriage institution is sacred, it is ordained by God and should not be something we play games with.
Dowry+sign at the court+blessed by the Pastor/priest on Sunday service, no stress and headaches, I prefer to marry and get my marriage blessed by the Priest or Pastor, I don't need a wedding not that I can't afford but not necessary. Wisdom is the key.

I have always wanted to have a lowkey wedding. Marriage is more spiritual than all the glamour. I WILL MARRY RIGHT, I WILL HAVE A GODLY AND BEAUTIFUL MARRIAGE IN JESUS NAME. I am intentional about this. 👌

You kind of look at the title and think “I know exactly what she’s going to say” but BOOM the Holy Spirit brings a deeper revelation of what you “thought” you already knew. I think I have been asking my Father for marriage but to be honest I have been asking Him to be validated in the eyes of society. His validation is all I need. My good good Father. Now we can pray Lord help me desire the version of marriage that you have made for me.
Thank you Minister Victoria. I can relate. I got married and waited a year whilst preparing a wedding after dowry. Its years later when I had an understanding that it was a wedding for people. Challenges and tribulations came but the foundation of knowing what is marriage was not there. Divorce happened and the blames of both families were traumatic. My dowry was never finished because the wedding had so much bills . The bills that we paid for months afte the wedding. I agree to what you have said , I always say if i am to get married again, it will be the two of us not public.
I got married with some few friends and family on a Friday and that was an eye opener for my friends and even my local church. As I speak they have canceled big weddings Except you have the means to do so.

The problem is male gender, marriage will begin to get better when we have men who fears God, understand what marriage is all about, keeping marriage vows, being committed, being faithful, understanding spirituality and practicing Godly principles.

That's right. This kind of revelation is not known by everyone but i thank God for giving you the platform to share your mind on marriage the very same way he taught me. Marriage was a scarecrow for me but now i tell you after God teaching me what marriage was all about, i said yes Lord, i will do this. I only pray my generation can receive the impartation of this kingdom knowledge and come out of the lies the world has taught us.
