I actually agree with the mom. This happened to me. I tried on two dresses and the first was the one I wanted because I showed them the online picture I was set on it was suppose my dream dress I went again and tried on more and after 6 dresses I found the one I cried in it was not initially the dress I saw online and showed them my mind changed. Thats why I feel its good to try at least a good amount of dresses you never know

I went to a very small bridal shop and picked my dress out in a catalog. It was a southern Belle. That was in 2004. It was perfect! I loved it! It looked like a dress that would have been on the movie called gone with the wind it was beautiful!

She fell in love with a dress from a picture worn by a model. But it didn't look like that on her. She should have tried on a different style.

Yes she did look amazing in the first dress but yet again she wasnât offered the chance to try something that was similar within her budget. The style of dress is not unique and the detail on it wasnât either. I also thought the detailing looked grubby but that could have been the lighting.

The dress was not made for her figure and was above her budget , she needed to try more styles unlike the second bride. luckily that's how my mother in law is and I prefer that over going along with me and then I show up with an unflattering 5K dress that I bought without too much thought

Melissa talked herself into that dress. Mom was correct. It really wasn't even that flattering, in my opinion. But the second bride? Oh. My. Goodness. THAT was beyond stunning. I understand why the first mom was hesitant. The consultant was so enthousiastic with her reaction on the first dress that she filled in the brides reaction to much on the other dresses. Not letting anyone else speak their mind. As so it seems in this clip.

And it didnât look like a near $6,000 dress. Personally, I didnât think it did anything for her and her Mom was probably too kind to say it.
It was a dress she literally brought a picture of to the appointment wanting to try it on, not a dress the consultant chose based on what she was looking for, including budget.
This consultant Diann ALWAYS starts at the brides top budget. In this case it was $5,000. She Then puts her in a $5,900 then she says to the bride "U CAN COMPARE THE OTHERS TO THE FIRST". The mother knew what was going on, kudos to the mom. The bride's budget was $5,000. Keep in mind that doesn't even include a vail or alterations. They made the right choice!!!!! đșđž

What does it matter who found the dress ?? If she loves â€it and she knows this is the one then let her decide. Donât make her second guess herself. Only a bride knows if thatâs the one regardless who picked it out . I found my dress the first time I went to try them on. I found it in the first 30 minutes of being there . And I didnât regret it at all . I still think itâs gorgeous!!!
That is why I plan to go either alone or with one of my brothers that always supports me. I donât want to argue or quarrel with anyone over a dress.

I did exactly what the first bride did. Looked through the bridal magazines, showed the sales lady what I liked. She knew exactly I what wanted. I tried on 2 dresses, and I was done. I bought the first one. It was exactly what I wanted and even more beautiful than what I had in mind. I bought that first dress and no regrets, it was perfect.

The first bride's dress was mystifying. That strange inverted Y shape covered in glitter, just weird and not especially flattering. The way the arms of the Y spread out, it only draws attention to the widest part of the body. The mother actually saved her from a kind of ugly dress.
I thought the silver embellishment going up the front looked like a body part that's usually blurred on camera.
