What a fantastic video. I remember Forbes way back in the early eighties before i was married. Visited there with my girlfriend and now wife and did plenty of fishing in the Lachlan River with my best mate. Discovered new places to fish and later when i married took my Wife and kids there for 20 or so years every December/January. Kids are grown up and are always asking when are we going to go back. Been to every pub in Forbes(not to get plastered) but to watch the Jazz festival usually in January and record some fantastic footage of jazz players who are no longer with us. People i did not know personally. Used to take the kids to the pool and cinema and stay at the Plainsman motel across the road from the RSL club which we would attend at dinner time. Can remember when the kids were with us sitting having dinner in the restaurant at the RSL club and one of the waitresses came out with free ice cream for the kids. We were blown away by the kindness we received. Will never forget them days and will get back there one day. I have lots of video footage of all off those years and can see how our own family grew. Thanks for the video as it was a reminder to us that family is everything.
Wow, without a doubt this is the best comment we've ever received... Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing your pressous memories. We are still full time on the road and still filming it. However, the global situation has really taken the shine and importants of uploading vids because it just seems so frivolous in comparison. You have inspired me to maybe get back into it with your lovley comments. If I can bring another person's memories of such beautiful times with family, I guess it has value. Hey Ken. Yes mate the turbo is fitted. Berrima Diesel did the install and unfortunately was unable to film the install. Will be putting a small insert into our Berrima town tour and putting in our review of the outcome and whole experience. All in all excellent outcome and should have done it earlier. Cheers Brian
