In my view Bhakti Movement which originated from South India was one of the most positive event in Indian History from women's perspective. This Bhakti Movement made considerable progress during the rule of Vijayanagara Empire.

This gets very beautiful when she said "Do you think I am without my beloved?" Their closest emotional relationships were among themselves. Lol they fooled us into thinking that they are dying for men actually that's their professionalism.

I don't agree with alot of what's said in this video. Specially about Marriage, It is the worst social norm for men. Practice of marriage is for kid not for men or women because two parents household are best for offspring. Just a bullshit ideology stop this nonsense about patriarchy, Society as whole has benefited for its security and development.

She gave a vague politically correct answer and the lady like a naive person bought into it. The question clearly was that if she wanted to LOVE A MAN did she have the freedom to do so? The answer clearly is a NO. They sacrificed this freedom for the bondage they were under. How can one not see the courtesan culture as a demeaning one. They were looked upon as objects and were paraded around to places.

I dont think so... Love is not always heterosexual....... And a woman who want to live her life with complete independence and without any kind of boundaries... Willl definitely choose to be with other women.... Because no matter what she can and will achieve if she will live with a men like father brother husband... Thennnn sheeeee willll get treated as subordinate..... By one way or the other... You can't resist this.... That's for sure
