It was not a cutting board, it was a real chessboard. The board was made of walnut, maple and cherry.

I just made a simple veneer style chessboard on an MDF substrate. Watching you do this build is like the Rolls Royce of chessboard building. Bravo~!

Jay Bates No. Usually I speed up the clips 4 times. In reality I set 12-18 mm/sec. depending on the used bit and the cutting depth.

Using plywood ruined it for me. For what these cost, I'd expect it to be made from solid 2.25" stock not laminated thinner boards.
