Coolest Dad ever! Those boys are lucky to be surrounded by such a collection and even more so to be able to share it with their Dad. Great video.
CZcams took an odd action against my channel and deleted the thousands of comments I had on my entire video library. They refuse to do anything to bring these comments back. So if you made a comment on this or any other video of mine, please know that I did not delete your comment and I truly appreciated each and every one of you that took the time to say something to us.
I was chatting with Horror & Monster Collectibles and he also lost tons.
Why would anyone ever dislike this?!
They are stupid
***** I did that to show people what to expect when ordering it. :)
motuclassics I actually liked seeing the box and stuff
They prefer the ugly Tumbler.
What an incredible review. I love the fact you share all of this with your son and allow him to participate in the experience. You are a great father. Thanks for sharing this moment with the CZcams audience!
That might just be the coolest toy ive ever seen. im a huge batman fan like you, i even have a full bodysuit and everything. but this is my absolute favorite car of them all. and in that size woooow!!!! all those lights and everything holy jeez batman!
I was thinking about that scene you open the vid with when I got mine too it was the first thing I thought of when I saw it. Very cool room for the batmobile to call home. I know you guys will cherish this piece as much as I do.
Cool smart son, great dad, great collection and insanely cool Batmobile. I mean too cool. Man I'm jealous. Thanks for the show and tell.
Thank you for watching and the kind words!
Thank you very much! And yeah, it is great finally being able to talk '89 with him! :)
...continued... I dint know this car was made in this scale...I saw all your detolfs I wish I could add some more to my collection but the wife has started to put her foot down on my "addiction" for toy collecting so I now live vicariously through you guys thanks again and keep posting great vids!
Love the way you teach your boy principles of buying/selling/trading and market principles through collectibles toys trading! Brilliant idea as a Dad! You're a great Dad!
That’s very cool u can enjoy this with ur boy! Little man seems to know a lot about Batman and the details too! Great review guys!
This little guy must be gown now. Nice video man. I got a cooped toddlers. Cannot wait till they are old enough to appreciate my collection
He is indeed! Blaze turns 20 this year and Keaton just turned 15... Enjoy those times man! They fly right by. :)
@@SawyerFamilyReviews wow that’s beautiful buddy. Nice video and nice to see you respond here
You should rotate the tires regularly to avoid them getting flat, as the rubber will give in if left sitting for too long. It's happened to me before
You are so lucky that looks awesome. Oh and it's great that Blaze has finally seen Batman 1989!
Great review. So I got mine on Wednesday. I LOVE IT. Mine did not have any flaws. And the box did not have any damage to it. The batmobile is how I stumbled across sideshow site in the first place. To me it's the grail. EXCELLENT REVIEW. What happen to all your hot toys figures? And I still miss your motuc display. Your he man display and video you shared with us all was true eye candy.
Great review. Got mine last week and it is amazing. A must have for batman fans.
Thanks! It truly is a grail piece... Congrats on getting an unscratched one! This used to be the Hot Toys display room, yeah... But now that the kids are older and more responsible, the wife said she wouldn't mind if I had some stuff displayed in one of our upstairs rooms- As long as it looked classy (higher-end items, glass cases). So I separated out my Marvel Hot Toys for display up there, and converted this room into my Keaton/ Reeve stuff.
Thanks man! This room is pretty much it for the detolfs for right now. The He-Man stuff is on regular shelves in another room. I am buying more detolfs soon for the upstairs though. Now that the kids are older and more responsible, the wife said she wouldn't mind if I had some stuff displayed in one of our upstairs rooms- As long as it looked classy (higher-end items, glass cases). So I separated out my Marvel Hot Toys for display up there, and converted this room into my Keaton/ Reeve stuff.
Thanks very much! Glad ya liked it!
Thanks! And I agree... a MUST for 1989 Batman fans!
I would love that. I just put up my Hot Toys Batman 89 and Joker on display.
This used to be, yeah... Finally getting mine in a few days! I still have the original 89 batmobile and the wheels were black with silver bat symbol in the middle like the movie. Not that big of a deal but this is definitely the best so far though.
Amazing review, I love how you added the cutscenes in between especially the one with parent guns
This Batmobile is a work of art. 😎
Excellent review, I love mine, had a friend who owns a body shop totally repaint it, it now looks more like a replica, rather than plastic toy, some might say I'm crazy for doing it, but I will never sell it, and I think it looks even better than before! The next project is to replace the lighting in the afterburner for something brighter! Either way, it's an awesome piece!
Also, try plastic polish, and a soft cloth, it should polish those scuffs right out!
30:14 now that's a great way of adding scratches to the car LOL
Thanks very much! As much as I would love to own the '66, I will probably have to pass. I really don't have space for another huge vehicle (unless it was the Batwing... I would FIND room for that!). And since Keaton has always been "MY" Batman, I don't think I can justify slapping a lot of funds on the '66. Man, it does look GREAT though!
This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!
Parenthood level = out of this world!!! I really do wanna know if you bought more for yourself as a collector or as an extremely pricy toy for your son??
Awesome batmobile! I actually own the HT Tumbler, and I was super stoked opening up that bad boy up. But this is on a whole other level! OMG!!! My jaw just about dropped when I saw this beast. Are you planning on getting the 66' batmobile as well? Congrats on the grail purchase and great vid. Take care.
congrats man! thats strange that SS didnt change the final payment date they allowed me to change the date for final payments earlier so i could get my figure earlier ... ive done that a few times already
It really was... Been waiting to do this one for a year and a half!
It really has taken so long for this to come out I wonder if Hot Toys will be so eager to make vehicles again? That said, if they made the ride on batmobile the Penguin rodes in Batman Returns, or better yet, the duck truck, I may crack and buy it
Thanks man... I am still waiting for their reply. they said it will take 3-5 days to respond- Which is a little crazy since they know it is an issue now. It seems like they'd be able to send out "blanket" responses on what they can offer for this issue. I am chalking it up to the less-than-stellar Sideshow customer service as of late...
I LOVED THIS REVIEW!!!!! So Awesome, a father and son review!!! COOL!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Vinto! Joker's balloons would be awesome! I am still waiting to hear back from SS on what they are going to do...
The Hot Wheels 1/18 Batmobile's canopy slides just like in the movie as well.
Man, you're so calm about those scratches! For the most part, I'm normally OK with minor damage like that, but on this piece that goes for $600+, I'd expect perfection or nothing!! Not sure where you got this from, but if it was from Sideshow, I'd be calling them to see what they can do to replace those parts (if possible), or give some sort of reimbursement. Those scratches would annoy the crap out of me!!
Cool batmobile model
Will do!
Yep its called the 65 Batmobile, accepting SS offer I did.
Btw sorry about my voice typos
Thanks very much! I still dig that 1:18th too... but it is impossible for it to match this beast. :)
Oops didn't mean parents guns lol torrent gun. Great review you guys really nailed it with put in Batman in the cockpit ; ) you to remind me of Batman and Robin tackle me this review. Great job and thanks for sharing.
This remind me how poor i am.
Tom Acepcion me too lololol
Hopefully you guys can get it someday.
Wow definitely worth the $629. However the shipping charge is a little excessive to me. I think while they are packing them up in China, they get scratched up. You know them sweat shops in China. But it is a beautiful Batmobile.
this one must be preatty special for you guys
Great review!! I like how you added clips from the movie.
you can use the shield as a bathtub for babies :D
love this car
Nice review homie. Awesome Batmobile!! I would get it if i had space.
Wow beautiful collection bat friend !!!!
Niiiiiice very Niiiiiice! i am just watching everyones vids on this fantastic piece while i am still waiting on mine to arrive from BBTS :/
Thank you! I am a little too scared to do that. They really aren't noticeable unless under direct light (like the camera is pulling in). I'd rather just live with them then risk getting one that is worse. It shouldn't have happened... But no way am I missing out on this Batmobile! :)
? Everybody is entitled to an opinion... But I am curious why you say this? Is it because I collect toys? Because my kids actually love that. We talk and play toys all the time, and I take pride in the fact that I know what toys they are talking about when they say stuff like "I want a Thunderwhip Batman and a MOTU Classics Spikor for my birthday". Sure, I have plenty of my own toys on display... but that in no way means my kids don't. :)
It is well worth the wait... AMAZING piece!
That's one lucky kid.
What did sideshow say to you when you phoned them then James? That is an awesome piece of kit. Now all you need it Jokers balloons
HOLY CRAP SALLAH! Great review!! How many detolfs do you have to holster your 1989, MOTUC, and HT collection?! :D
Awesome peace mate. Sideshow should of let you change you payment. I've done it a few times, maybe you just got a person who didn't know their job very well
looks amazing! congrats. if you put a dab of black paint on the scraches would it work? just wondering.
Excellent Review! I Just purchased mine a couple days and am in the process of finishing my custom shelf and acrylic display cover for it. How did you end up displaying yours?
Wow!!!! enjoy this beauty!
And great review.
Hi james, have you moved your hot toys collection to accomodate your batman collection or is that a different space?
very good men, 2 figure into the batmobile
you are the best superhero dad
Wow está genial, excelente Batmobile hermoso
Gracias!
All the features? What about the Grappling Hooks in the side??? :-)
Nice video!!!
Nice Batmobile Great review
So I know your favorite robin is tim drake. But I put my dc direct 12 inch figure in there. And he looks amazing. It's dick Grayson but still might want to give it a look on eBay if you want.
No worries! :)
Awesome review, have received my Batmobile last week and love it.
Btw, what brand is the amazing 89' Batwing in the background? It is not the Toynami right?
what do you do about the scratches? that would drive me nuts,I love the Batmobile but it seems like a lot of money to take a gamble to get one in perfect condition.
VERY nice review, one thin im schtickling about is the grey wheels when they should be flat black, i hope to buy one soon but first something more practical a real car lol
The wheel rims are in fact metal grey in the original 1989 film. You just don't notice them due to the dark batmobile sequences in the film. The rims were officially changed to the flat black in the 1992 sequel- Batman Returns.
This Batmobile is awesome! Great video guys. And it's cool you wife l
That is amazing! Really cool! I have the 1:18 scale one but this makes it look crappy!
Thank you!
Great video thanks for sharing...I didn't know th
nice review guys , i have one of my own , i also few minor scratches here and there just wondering have you tried removing them with something like plastic polish or anything like that?
hi what size screwdriver did u use to open the battery compartment im having problems opening mine,
Yeah, I thought it was really kind of crappy. They weren't helpful at all with it. I really feel like their customer service (which used to be THE BEST) has gone down a few notches lately...
That kid is awesome lol
Y cant the steering wheel turn the directional front wheels? I have an $85 die-cast metal shelby 1:16 with active steering mechanism
When we pay more & expect less, they can start lowering their standards
Best batmobile when you think about this batman movie is the sequel to nolans films .Which were prequels so in real time this is how the batmobile would exist past and present it's more relevent than the tumbler
One day I will own this bad boy! Center piece for the man cave (batcave) lol
And thank you! :)
this is going to be the first car im going to purchase when i pass my driving lesson lol
Love the video dude!!
Did i hear correctly? This bat mobile is $600+?
HT need to make a Kim Bassinger figure.
Will never happen. Still waiting on Batman Returns Catwoman & the Penguin as well.
I will... and thank you! :)
Perfect
It's a beauty, no complaints, does it come with Batman, or is that seperate, very cool!
man that looks awesome, what do you do for a living? great collection man.
Thank you very much! :)
Epic review! Thank you!
that is big enough to drive!
parenting.... you're doing it right.
Very nice . Great review
