Let’s be honest here. Drag racers and Roll racers are always going to be at odds. It’s 2 totally different ways to race. One is not better than the other, they are just different. Some guys like the strip other roll racing. I say to each the it own. Race what you like, don’t have to dog the other 😉

It takes much more skill to drag race. If you really got skills you and do it with no prep just a tire. Roll racers use tires too. SMH keep it 100. Go back to when you first took your new built to Florida you expected to go fast in the quarter mile but had problems. Now your not bout that life stop it.

Love the videos, but c'mon now, we gotta talk about this. Roll racing largely exists, because big power cars struggle for traction anywhere else, and so some people move the goalposts to pick and choose favorable speeds to run. In many cases, they still get selective about tires (so it's not real-world), but otherwise refuse to launch or run at lower speeds, for fear of breaking something or the inability to put down usable power.
And that's fine, roll racing is awesome. But to keep it 100, it's just playing to a particular cars strengths, while trying to minimize the downsides. I'd also argue that controlling traction and translating power to forward motion requires significant skill, but to each their own. All love, here, awesome content and I respect the build.
Dynocoms actually read about 15%-18% higher than a dynojet, so they are on the fat side. Either way, the car made great power up to 6000rpms.

Here’s the order of difficulty.
1st Track racing, a real track like formula 1, left turns right turns braking, acceleration at the right time.
2nd Drag racing you have the light, when to launch, timing, do you launch in 2nd gear or first? What rpm? Short shift? Stuff like that.
A way distant third is roll racing why because it’s this “ok 40, you ready? Then go! Damn I lost! “Ok 60 let’s go!” Ok I won you’re literally just a passenger.
I love to roll race because it shows true power of my build not my skill.
There are billions of dollars in F1 (track racing)
Maybe billions in Drag racing
And they have sanctioned would wise televised events. Roll racing is simply gearing, and power.
Just my opinion…. Now I’d love a roll race with people its fun.

Bro If a car destroys you in a quarter mile it will more than likely destroy you in roll racing. A 10 second car is not going to beat an eight second car in any shape ,form or fashion. ET and trap speed go hand and hand. Especially when we’re talking about high hp car’s. You’re not going to trap 140 in the 1/4 and run an eight second quarter mile Unless you are sand bagging. You should pay attention to everything not just trap speed. The entire journey tells you how the car performs in every aspect. Better pray to God you never roll race a car that runs an eight second quarter mile at 120 mph because that car is sand bagging like a motherfucker and will destroy you.

@@Bluefirekeys I'll have to disagree. Example... A car with more traction on the drag strip may trap a 10s@120 and a car with less traction may run an 11@over 130. From a roll the 11s car will beat the 10s car.

A car that runs 11s and traps 130 in the quarter mile is not a high horsepower car. I am talking about cars with 1000 horsepower or more like mod to fames car. Demonology is a perfect example. He destroyed mod2fame in the quarter and destroyed him from a roll.
Torque wins at the drag strip, Horsepower wins at the roll races
Traction and reaction wins. Torque has nothing to do with it. Some cars have way less torque than a scatpack and will beat a hellcat easily.

Ok very good. I’ll be looking forward to next season. Don’t get me wrong I’m a fan and drag race my self. I built my car this year had so many problems I never made it to the track. New builds are not easy. I just didn’t want him to walk away from drag racing because it is the reason i watch the channel.
I'm very confused by the idea that roll racing requires skill. Correct me if I'm wrong, but roll racing is just finding a speed then hitting the pedal. That's it. The only thing you need to do is keep the car straight and know when to slow down..basically a drivers education course. I'm a Subaru STi guy so my car is on the race track, not fast in a straight line. However, all that driver skill you mentioned is necessary on a track. Even drag racing requires skill and timing. I think you're confused.
Let me first say that I fuck with the channel and I like your content but you be saying some off the wall shit🤦🏾♂️ . Man there’s no way your challenger will run a high 8 . No way in hell . Maybe if u put an auto. No way as a manual as it is currently constructed. And it is much harder and takes way more skill to drag race vs to roll race. No comparison. Especially when we’re talking about car’s that trap 160 plus in the quarter. If a car is faster than u in a quarter there’s a really high chance it will beat u from a roll as well.
