Similar story with my grandpa, I always remember him playing this song in the car when we're going on a trip or eat. I love him so much because my dad left the family when I was a baby so my grandpa was the father figure to me. Everytime I hear this song I just cry remembering the times we used to have.

My Lolo died last Monday, February 28, 2022. This is one of his favorite songs. He's my number one fan. My only supporter. My dad died when I was two. My lolo raised me. He spent 29 years of his life caring and loving me and here I am, living the rest of my life without him. I didn't even have the chance to give back that 29 yrs with him. This is the kind of pain I am willing to pay so much just to make it go away. Saan ka man ngayon, Tay, know that I love you. I may be strong but you'll always be my weakness. I will only be weak in your arms. See you again. Hintayin mo ko. Mahal na mahal kita. :)

There's a guard and there's a SAD OLD PADRE, arm in arms we'll walk at daybreak,
again i'll touch the green green grass of home..
    He is on a deathrow...
Yes they all come to meet me, in the shade of the old oak tree
    As they lay me me
Beneath the green green grass of home...
    Rest in Peace, poor prisoner...

Entonces es triste la canción! Pero murió de viejo en prisión o fue llevado a pena de muerte y murió en prisión?
