I use the AMSOIL coolant and coolant Boost in my 1995 Ford F-150 with the 5.8 and I have a aftermarket Water temp gauge and my truck went from 210 to 200 and that’s during the summer in California with the ac on I have noticed a big difference in my trucks performance

Here's the deal with this product. It has a 3 stage additive package that is actually activated by temperature. First stage the cold temps activate the quick warm up. Second stage medium temps activate the medium temp additives while the colder additive deactivate, The the last stage all the quick warm up additives deactivate and the extra cooling additives activate. So this 3 stage activation is like having 3 different products in your cooling system.
Why is quick warm up important?
    1) The car reaching operating temps quicker means better gas mileage.
    2) The car reaching operating temps fast means less pollution. All the emissions gadgets start working at operating temps aka the highest normal running temps of your engine.
In states where cold running until it warms up causes smog when you have cities that have 100's of thousands of cars starting up about the same time every morning and afternoon to go home. Smog could be reduced as much as 30% using this product. Amsoil is an environmental company as well as a performance company.
