🇸🇪 - again another port from the NF but I’m totally fine with this as the performance was pretty much perfect at melfest anyway! Why change something that ain’t broke
🇮🇹 - OKAAAY I was worrying so much when I saw the press pics but this video saved me it all looks fine Angelina gives it her all the performance is great I’m here for an Italy win

Why should Spain's staging be changed? It looks great.
All of these clips looked really good actually, except Italy which is the one I'm more concerned about...

It's interesting 'cause usually we have one song which is an absolute favoroute of queer ppl (the same with metal music, classical ballads are also very rare, this year) and this one it's UK and Switzerland. "La Noia" is a song that talks about nostalgia and melancholy, don't be fooled by the rhythm, it is a song that is anything but happy and cheerful. However there should be some fireworks towards the end of the song and the brightness will probably be increased a bit during the second rehearsal

My opinion based only on the rehearsal:
1. UK 🇬🇧 The idea behind the staging is quite original and fully expresses the meaning of the song. Pleasantly surprised.
2. 🇸🇪 The staging elevates this song, otherwise quite mediocre. If there's one thing the Swedes don't get wrong, it's visual entertainment.
3. 🇮🇹 An excessive and baroque staging: on one hand, it captures well both the meaning of the song and its Mediterranean soul; however, on the other hand, it's a bit overwhelming. My overall judgment is still positive, especially because I usually don't expect much from my country in terms of staging.
4. 🇪🇸 It's practically identical to the national final staging. I don't think much of it - and the dancers seem superfluous. What added value do they bring to the song? None. They're just there for a shock effect (which isn't shocking at all).
5. 🇫🇷 A ballad should be emotional. The awkward movements and this "wind" effect don't help the emotional aspect of the song.
6. 🇩🇪 Germany makes no effort either in song selection or staging. Absolutely bland. Last place guaranteed (and would be deserved)
I guess you could go up on the stage and do the same moves and acrobatics the Spanish dancers do, right? They literally steal the show.
