It's interesting to note that; Pierluigi Collina, head of the FIFA referees committee, has joined the conversation. He's calling out Premier-League ref Anthony Taylor and those VAR officials who were in charge of the Manchester-United vs. Liverpool showdown. Why? Well, it all boils down to the penalty call that's got opinions flying left and right.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka's challenge on Harvey Elliott inside the penalty box led to a spot-kick for Liverpool, and converted by Mohammad Salah to draw the game level at 2 2. At first glance, it seemed like a clear penalty. But slow it down, and you'll see the tackle barely brushes Elliott.
Collina didn't mince words, expressing his disappointment with the ref's decision. He even hinted that if he were in charge, he'd be reaching for his card to book Elliott for diving instead of handing out that soft penalty. - Sport

Suddenly everyone is arguing and coming to Man U rescue but when it comes to Liverpool for how many games now where were all these professionals to speak out and do something about such refereeing or behavior from officials...shame on you guy's...this beautiful game shouldn't come to the defense of just one team but against the rest of the Premier League....no wonder Klopp is leaving because all these thing's were made mentioned by him and he was painted a soar looser and a complainer...

@@LynleeHill-ph1kbdont know if you're having a go at me personally ,I'm a liverpool fan and I watch closely what man utd fan says about refereeing and var and I agree with him entirely on how bad both are ,be interesting who you support but lat season it was Brighton who got some terrible decisions and this season wolves had some awful decisions especially early so if it was me you were having a go at just think again,I know what's right and wrong at the end of the day ,over to you 😊

Everytime utd game we have to pay for penalty decision. Arsenal game, Chelsea game, liverpool game....obviously, wre knew theres not much checking on VAR cause us goal free. It is stupid.....VAR 3 person also blind, who can manage to amend the mistakebas the point cause man utd points + champion league spot.......We are so piss off on the this situation....I saw a lot referee is helping city, arsenal, liverpool. Just remember, "where there is money involved, justice.....won't get justice!" And nowadays, all sports are controlled by "money" or if you wish..sponsorships! So don't get to excited about some clashes. Many of those are " forced": to go a certain way, but as an individual, don't post your preverence too early, as this may provoke the opposition to change or support their favourite before you can change your input!
Load of tosh, just because the first attempt there wasnt much contact there was 3 other points of contact as a result of AWB going to ground. Its clumsy he got nothing of the ball, nowhere near infact and clipped elliott with 3 different points of contact. Hes taken the man out and nowhere near the ball. If you aint giving fouls for making a lunge for a tackle getting nowhere near the ball but making 3 points of contact on the player and tripping them up in the process then just do away with fouls altogether, anything goes. AWB doesnt even complain the decision either which says it all.

Its not much good to the ordinary punter who has a bet on the match who had utd down for a 2-1 either the bookies should pay out on a 2-1win or refund the betting stake that was in no way a penalty Elliott should have got a yellow card and it should have been a free out for utd and who ever says it was a penalty knows nothing about football the referee and the var operators are pathetic and need investigating because a blind man could see that was no penalty

after Awb lunged into his path with a poor clumsy attempt of a tackle he did indeed trip elliot up yes. Man didnt even complain about the decision so even AWB knew it was a pen and a poor tackle.
