- How to install Mercedes Benz factory auxiliary jack in your C-Class. The vehicle I'm using is a 2005 Mercedes C230 Kompressor. The Mercedes part number is 210 440 50 05 64. I purchased this through Pelican Parts online.

Perfect description. I have the radio with the AUX button and the installation worked exactly the same as with the radio in the video. It took me 20 minutes and everything works perfectly. Thank you very much for this video.
Your welcome! Thanks for watching!
The cords come w the car?
Watch the video and your questions will be answered 😉
Bruh!!! Got this MB C280 2006 and saw that cable. I though “ok, looks like AUX… but gives me no sound. Must be the conector for the phone integration” but your video gave me the hint I needed “PRESS AND HOLD CDC”.
Crazy that these cars come prepared for AUX but MB puts no interest on installing it on their own. 😂
Thanks man. You made my driving time more enjoyable. ❤
Sweet! Glad I could help out. Enjoy the MB! 🤙
What is cdc?
@@matttaniwha8609”CDC” is a button on the radio panel, it stands for “Compact Disc Charger”, which is the one on the glove compartment.
@matttaniwha8609 a button on the radio. Watch the video.
Got my first car and living without aux is killing me. Thank you!

Hi can you share the link to buy the Jack please

Great video, very informative, i am going to try out myself, thanks
Thank you for watching!
you know how to install mate garage
Hi mate i have mercedes c200 2001 i did every step but i can't see the prewierd connector how to locate the cable
Thanks for that video. I need to fix my radio antenna at the trunk, I saw the wire popping out and my radio is not playing.
Hi, if I understood this correctly, under the lower panel theres already a connector going to the radio, so all you have to do is buy the part, remove the panel, and connect them together?
Sorry for my bad english!
Yes you are correct
How can i check if my radio supports that? I have w203
@@RafaelMaps watch the video and find out how to know.
Hey i know this is an old vid I hope you see this, but this video really helps but I can’t find the white box you plugged in to your aux in all the cables and I need help.
If you don’t see the plug your vehicle may not be pre wired for it unfortunately. If not may have to look in to Bluetooth options.
Someone help me i have w203 year 2000
2.2 cdi but i have old stereo sith no numbers pad, will it works?
I have same radio, but there is not white socket. :/ So probbably i can not do this. But i read somewhere that you can activate aux mode by pressing 2 buttons at same time
bro, nice video. easy to follow
I have a 2005 C320 4matic... would this work on that vehicle?
You are a hero
Glad I could help out. Thanks for watching.
Freakin awesome, truly grateful 🥰

Great video! Thank you very much for the help
Your welcome! Thank you for watching!
My class did not have the empty white cable when I opened up the whole panel any suggestions??
I don’t know this was related to a C230 specifically
Î just got my clk w209. Its the same mechanic for the aux installation (white 4-pole cable on the passenger side). Following your tutorial I found a white 4-pole cable but it was connected to another 4-pole cable in brown. Are there any other 4-pole white cables in this place in the car or should this be the aux cable input?
Not sure for that vehicle
Thank you for sharing this video! ! I have ordered the AUX cable, because I cannot play CDs on the head unit - I have the same model that is seen in the video - when I insert CDs (factory or burned) I get a "Wrong CD 0" error message. Have you come across this before? I haven't been able to find a solution so far. Any help or advice would be appreciated!
No I haven’t please update us when you know the answer please.
Do you think it will work on my C220 CDI 2002 Avantgarde?
I’m not sure it seems as if some are pre wired and other models are not. It’s quick to find out just pop off the door sill and see if you have the white plug. Please update us all if you have it and please like and most importantly subscribe to my channel.
@@f.s.detailgarage7869 im stuck at removing the yellow clips on the side of the door, i see a white plug tho.. your video is helping me step by step, thanks
@@TechthroughToni they make specific tools to pop these clips out if they break they are cheap I wouldn’t stress on it.

Hello I have a question please I have one w203 coupe and I look the place where you was showing but I could not find a connector for it so it have one ore just the limousine?
If it’s not there it’s not pre wired for this. You will have to add the wiring yourself.
I dont have a white plug ,just the yellow one. Any ideas?
I’m not sure to be honest with you. Have you made sure the white plug hasn’t been moved near the kick panel instead of the door sill?
Great video - thorough. Unfortunately the cable is no longer available on pelican parts. Does anyone know where I can find it - postage to Spain please :)
AutohausAz has them. Google search it.
@@f.s.detailgarage7869 thanks so much for the link. I can’t seem to find my CLK270 2007 model on AutohausAz ‘s website. Do you know if it would be any different to the CLK350? Or does mine not have an Aux connection?!?
@englishbuilds my advice is see what your plug looks like in your car and see if the ends appear to match up. Best guess is it’s the same.
@@f.s.detailgarage7869 good plan, going to take a look and hopefully find it :)
Thank you very much !
Your welcome!
I followed the steps but could not find the cord , is it possible it might be hidden somewhere else?
Odds are your not pre wired for this feature.
@@f.s.detailgarage7869 oh I see
After assembling everything, when u close the glove box on the wire, does it smash it or there is enough room for it to not be squished?
I know you said that you may be able to move the cord around the bottom of the glove but I’m just asking on if there is enough space for the cord to not get squished when the glove is closed
It has enough room to close the glove box without damaging the cord or car.
So - this looks relatively plug and play. How easy it though for someone who has never done something like this on a car? Im worried that I wont be able to get it all back together once Ive disconnected the whole stuff.
Just be patient and watch the video and ensure you have the proper tools. If someone else put it together you can take it apart and put it back together as well. Best of luck my friend!
@@f.s.detailgarage7869 Thanks I will try! Last question though: Where did you get your cable from? Ive seen one on Amazon and its 50 Euros. Its an original Mercedes part. Is that its usual price?
@@adhx7506 i bought from Pelican Parts for about the same if I remember correctly.
@@f.s.detailgarage7869 Damn thats a heavy price.
the stock oem cd radio unit that is in these 2005 c230 kompressors .. is there a way to play music that is *NOT* on a CD ? like bluetooth or usb or something
Did you watch the video? 🤣
Will this work with the 04 manual version?
I explain everything in the video
Has anyone figured out how to go to aux mode when you only have cd, fm, am , rdm buttons in my 2002 W209.
I got a 2005 mercedes c class c200 avantgarde SE. I've been searching for how to get the telephone jack auxiliary cord that's compatible for the model but I can't find one. Can you please refer me to places I can get it.
Mine was from Pelican Parts it’s a Mercedes Benz option they sell at the dealer also.
Everytime you turn on the car, do you have to hold the cdc button to connect or will it be on automatically once you turn it on once?
Automatically connects going forward after it’s pressed the first time no need to hit CDC each time.
Hiya, I know this is a relatively old post but I’d like some help, I recently purchased a c220 for work, I have the same head unit as yours but left hand drive as Uk, I followed this video but I found no white aux harness adapter? Could this be anywhere else? My cdc does switch over to aux in input so I must be able to wire it, i just can’t locate it, thanks
I’m in the US so unfamiliar with your model but maybe check the opposite side of the vehicle or possibly behind the head unit? Please leave a response when you figure it out for others. Please subscribe as well if you already haven’t. Thank you! 🙏

after this instal we need to change the player if we don t have a player with aux function?
Watch the video the answer is there.
a quick question even tho u have the facelit version and i have the old comand on a 2003 c class. If the navi cd shows error is the aux option good ? or it will begin to fail too?
Honestly I have no clue. Sorry I can’t help you out.
I opened all panels under/near passenger and didn"t find white aux connector(( CLK W209 2003 year… in Command 2.0 there is AUX option…
Your not pre wired for it then.
I have 2004 c240 it doesn't have that plug do you know any other way to add aux jack to c240
I’m not positive maybe someone else will chime in on this for you.
cant wait to try this George, thanks again. what screwdrivers will i need ?
where can i buy this receiver?
Mercedes Benz
I have a Mercedes c 320 and the radio doesn't have a CDC button. But the cutout for the aux jack is there and im assuming so is the plug but i haven't taken off the trim yet to check. Is there a way to still use the aux jack? I don't want to use a tape deck aux 🙃

Does this work for an iPhone port as well? (Including an adapter) attached to the auxiliary port? Getting a huge fucking steal on this model and was going to kit this car out but very curious on if it’ll work
Haven’t tried it with my iPhone and adapter we use a galaxy s21
Hi mate I have got 2008 w221 Mercedes Benz s class do you think I have got same cable on the under the car oet many thanks
I have no idea! All you can do is look.
Where do you get that aux wire connecter?
Mercedes Benz or Pelican Parts
Does anyon know from where i can order this cable i cant find it😪
Pelican Parts or the Dealer
I have everything but not this white cable
Does this work on the s class?
Only way to know is watch the video to see if you have the vehicle pre wired for this option.
Hello. what is the price of the jack
It was about $50 including shipping if I remember correctly.
So is this a different input then the 32 pin ? My interface is not working so I’m wondering if the original aux would help
This is the original hardwired auxiliary hookup from Mercedes Benz. The vehicle is a Canadian model.
Just checked my 2011 c300 doesn’t have this connection
Sorry to hear this.
Can you help me please. I have 2005 a class, it doesn’t have Aux so I bought one from Amazon & plugged it back of car stereo , inactive Aux from cdc button but its still not working :( what should I do I need my tunes
From what I know the connection is in the passenger door sill area where you seen me connect mine.
hey i know it’s an old video but i hope you see this . can you tell me from where did you bought the cable ? i can’t find it anywhere …

Hi. I can fix the same to e 280 2007 model?
You have to see if you have the plug. Watch the video the answer.
Sry a year late, but does this work with 2001 c class model
I’m not sure. You would need to watch the video to see if you have the correct plug pre wired.
would this work for a mercedes c180 2005 kompressor?
Watch the video to find out if your pre wired
Does this work on the Cheaper radio 2003 elegance
I’m not sure.
What is the name of the link and where can I get it
I tell you in the video or if your clever you could tell by the thumbnail. 😉
Hey ! It’s the same with the Slk r171 ?
I have no idea. You have to disassemble the kick panel and door sill to see if you have the connection pre wired.

fits on mercedes c180 2005??
You will need to watch the video to find out if your pre wired or not.
For my C320
what is that part called? can i buy it off ebay?
It’s an auxiliary cable or AUX Cable. Not sure about eBay.
Make sure you get the 4 pin connector. They sell cheap ones with 6 pins that say w203 compatible but they're not
I have done the install but it does not help because I do not find aux on my radio I have only CD, RDS and this is it.. Is there any other way to turn on aux on radio?
I have mercedes benz c200 year 2003
You hold down CDC to get in to Auxiliary mode.
I do not hace CDC, I have original radio but it is not with screen like yours, I only have CD, RDS, FM, AM buttons...
Best guess is trying holding any of those buttons to activate AUX mode.
You can't
I tried that it didn't work same plug, same cdc button says aux input active. But now I search and some folks state that it has to be connected to the back of the radio. Don't know why if all the plugs are there and one thing I notice is that I don't have A multi cd changer. Some please help, because behind the radio there are a set of same color wires in a white plugs in back of the radio unplug
I’m not sure it’s possible it was disconnected prior if some one had a aftermarket deck installed. Use a volt meter and see if you have the same wire at each spot.
heck just buy a aux bluetooth adapter and make it wireless
You could but the sound quality drops
Can I do this on 2004 Mercedes Benz c240 ?
More than likely. All you can do is look and see.
yes
Only if the plug is pre wired
@@f.s.detailgarage7869 l have a 2002 c240 and it has the plug pre wired .I think this w203 pre face-lift series from 2001 - 2005 should all have it pre wired.
