That's why I love These TWO. Liam is 100% Celtic and would run thru brick walls for us.. And AJ fell in love on his debut at ibrox and we didn't even have fans there.. Or did we? I can't mind but AJ just gets us you can see it in his face.

@@arronblack67 That’s fine if you’re playing for a mediocre club defending a lot, I like Scales and he’s good backup but he just slows us down a bit too much. Won’t question his commitment and passion but he’s just a bit limited as a footballer, if we want to progress we either need Nawrocki in and given a proper chance/run or sign a new CB.

I love both these guys. I think Scales has been brilliant this season for us 🍀 his passing can sometimes be frustrating but if he was a great passer of the ball he would be down the English Premiership playing so we can’t always have it all 🙏 roll on Saturday 🕺

Scales is my favourite player of the season - I'll tell you why. I feel a real life connection with him. I've had it tough in my job and found myself under a lot of pressure. And came through it stronger after thinking I was a goner. Scales performance at Ibrox will probably go down as his defining, greatest game of his life. Scales embodies the spirit of never giving up and coming back after being written off. When Scales plays for Celtic. I play! You're living my dream and we're with you all the way. He is a special player. God bless you Liam. You'll never walk alone!

Watching this from Hamilton Ontario, and my son Mark, played striker for the local university team the Macmaster university Marauders. He reached a national final with them and also represented the Canadian university team at the Kazan finals in Russia. He is now happily married to the striker from the Macmaster ladies soccer team of the same year. They are expecting their second grandchild next month. I remember seeing young Alfonso Davies playing in Mississauga Ontario when he was a nipper. Sometimes a balanced lifestyle can be as satisfying as the life of a full time professional athlete. BTW well done Bhoys for beating Rangers "again " in the Scottish cup final !

Alistair Johnson Canadian guy is a fine player and for me could make a good captain ..But Liam Scales i feel is not good enough and Celtic need in bit better in need of a Mjallby or Paul Elliot type centre back better than Vickers but one of these beside Vickers for Europe ahead as way time this team went firther in Europe as been diabolical last 20 or so yrs .
Scales starts more than any other cb this season and we concede less goals than the “rock solid” defence of last year and he isnt good enough? Not saying hes better than vickers but cmon

Liam scales is one of the main reasons sevco pushed us in the title race this year, really one of the worst defenders in the history of the club. Watching him is an ordeal.
