Your message about the student and the master resonated with me.
I believe a master is someone who is both of two things. They are well experienced and highly proficient in all facets of their art or trade. They are also working to push their own limits and the limits of the art or trade through experimentation and by applying their skills in new and different ways.
We can all benefit by thinking like a master. Accept that we will never know everything. We will never be perfect. But continue to innovate the art or trade so that it will be closer to perfect.
Absolutely. Just like you don't need to be a master to be proficient at something and proud of your current skills, being a master doesn't mean your growth is over. We are constantly developing ourselves, and the only way to do it wrong is to stop.

Love the calligraphy. I took a course on uncial calligraphy a few years back and have been thinking it’s time to get back to it and practice; thank you! You have given me inspiration to do just that! Love your style!
I'm so happy to hear that! Uncial is my absolute favorite medieval script. It's still fun to learn others, but I always come back to this one.
