Hello, can I instal GTD/GTI lower grill on my TDI (normal golf like yours) or I need whole bumper. My lower grill is also damaged like yours but I dont like look of it, I like GTD grill but I'm affraid it wont fit in my stock TDI bumper? Thank you
@@iviizualzz-7908 since he said no ai disnt even tryed if I could fit it in my tdi bumper. And Im not in mood to waste money on that part and it wont fit hehe. But if you gonna customize it I bet it can fit but you need someone to help you with that. Someone who works with plastic so he can adjust it to fit your stock bumper
I am sorry, but you can see right away that you are doing it all wrong. The side pieces can be done easier by going from the other side, slipping a screwdriver on the inside where it touching the center part amd then it clips off fairly easily. The Center/Main grill fits in at the bottom then clips at the top, but you are pulling it out from the bottom... Again, backwards. One look at the new replacement peice shows me that much. I am no machanic and I have NEVER done anything like this before and I came here to have a look, but that is the opposite to how I would do it. I saw your vide and I went and did mine and yes, I am right. At least I knew how NOT to do it.
Brother how can I remove the lower middle grille? It just doesn't want to come out?!
Ignore how he did it and you pull it from the top, the bottom then comes out easily.
Cool video....i just hit a rabbit with my Golf 6 yesterday. Good news i don't have to remove the front bumper.
Thanks man.
Thank you Chris, very useful tutorial.
Same process with the honeycomb one?
