I personally have extremely straight hair - my mom had extremely straight/thin hair, and my dad has extremely curly/thick hair. My sister inherited my dad’s curly thick hair, and I ended up with my mom’s straight thin (and lifeless hair). I’ve always wanted curly hair... it looks so full, voluminous and beautiful. But everyone says “you always want what you don’t have,” because many girls with curly hair feel like they have a much longer routine to style their hair and it requires a lot more care. My sisters hair gets matted so easily, and she can’t wash it every day or just walk out the house with a wet head like I do (I literally just wash my hair everyday in the shower and walk out the house with a wet head and it dries straight and flat). If I didn’t wash my hair everyday it would look sooo greasy and oily and it’s highly visible because it’s so straight. My sister always complained about the upkeep of her hair and I never understood why because it looks sooo gorgeous to me. From watching this channel, I can totally see that’s true. But i just wanted to say - you all have beautiful hair. I am so jealous. I’ve learned so much from you guys about how to care for and style curly hair.
