- Two high handicap golfers play in a 4 hole head to head match. Best of the 4 holes takes the win!
Today we are playing at Pontefract & District Golf Course.
I have been playing golf for a year (beginner golfer) and my golf handicap is about 20.
Shout out to Lewis (36 Handicap) for playing today and hope to see him again on the channel soon.

That half swing three wood on the final hole by Lewis was great. It’s good to see a 36-handicapper coming though with a shot like that and a nice par.

At least you play giving shots fairly, unlike a couple of other golf channels that use the course handicap ratings to their advantage so they actually end up only giving 2 shots when they should have givin the much higher handicap player 4 shots…it’s pretty much just plain cheating…so props to you Luke 👏🏼👏🏼

It still counts 😂 even if your hacking it around like I do, otherwise I would be hitting par every time 😉😂
To this point, we've never counted a complete air shot as a stroke. Good to know though 👍

You guys should add the distances to the hole on the top right score card
It’s quite hard to record all the distances when doing these matches just because we don’t want to hold up play too much. Thanks for the suggestion though 👍

@@UpDownGolf I meant like on the screen, lots of golf youtubers i follow show how far to the hole, as well as how far their shot travelled...not sure if there is a program for that or not lol
Ahh sorry I know what you mean. I have done it on my solo course vlogs (few on this channel). I haven't been able to do it on these match ups just due to time pressure on the course etc
High handicapper + 3 wood + ball in the semi-rough...... I admire an optimist , have you tried a 7 wood much easier to hit/not top.

Interesting Adam. That may be easier said than done convincing them not to hit driver 😂
@@UpDownGolf completely - 90% will do it, but watch Golf Sidekick breaking 100,90,80 etc and the high handicappers to break 100 he recommends hitting 1 club off the tee (like 7), then 7 second shot and prob a 3rd…then putt (that way you get good at it, consistent, score drops)
