There is no guarantee that the results they are seeking will lead to the outcome they desire. In fact, revolutionaries often end up suffering from the events they unleash. Just to take two examples from the video, neither the Arab Spring nor WWI ended up with results that favored the revolutionaries, or changed the political arrangements to their liking. So, I'd be cautious about drawing conclusions, it may well result in the instigators suffering greatly and things "going South" quickly.
