I'm glad I watched a lot of the other videos so I can appreciate what's going on here a little bit.
Wow you guys are good, a garrocha pole is suppose to be 15 feet, and I have watched a world renowned performer try and fail to pull off those maneuvers with our ten foot lances. And your armor is extremely shiny, how many hours was that? .... but you need different color feathers so someone who does not know horses can tell you apart.
these lances are about 310cm long, and yes, it makes it harder to have that little shorter lance, also the armour does not quite allow you to bring your hand quite as far over and behind your head, so it is defniately a handicap.
we added it because this was meant to be a bit of a story, it is not part of the medieval martial arts like the rest is.

we are trying to use horses in Century 13 Reenactement and have a lot of training session between : Horses / Riders and Footmen too.
This is hard ! You can have a hight equestrian level , but all the feeling are changed by armour, helmet, shield, spear .
Steps by Steps , we try , we aren't good rider as Arne team could be. But we don't give up ^^ www.tournoi13.org
