Stop Underestimating the R.357 In The Finals

In this little video, I show my love for the R.357. Although a wild beast to tame, sometimes it just works. The Finals has a lot of different weapons and I don't really see this one being used. The current meta seems to favour light players. Maybe next video I'll try learning the bow.

The Finals Revolver has weird recoil, awful damage at range, slow reload, and a small capacity of only 6 shots; and to be competitive you HAVE to hit headshots or you're already dead. The only time I do well with it is on enemies sitting still, and I am a Diamond player too. If they buffed its damage just slightly and increased its range (decrease the fire rate for balance maybe) it would be viable. The Wingman from Apex Legends feels much better and it even has bullet drop and a slow projectile.
It used to be incredible at range. I remember using it to scare snipers because it could do massive damage from across the map and you don't have the lens glint showing your location like the snipers do so they had no idea.

I personally think giving that 1 extra damage is a bad idea. It would make the weapon feel unreactable if u get hit once. It does need more damage at range. Other than that. If u hit ur shots its kinda insane.
@@icy_demons_ it requires 4 shots to kill a medium whereas the FCAR and AKM can kill multiple mediums in one magazine and are still more forgiving. The revolver is not good even if some crazy plays can be made with it.
Ong. the revolver just needs really good aim to work.
i'm a revolver main in the finals and its so punishing when it you miss but the moment you find the sweet spot it just spoils you with the fastest kills ever

You don't have the lens glint either so you can stay hidden. I used it as my main but if I saw a sniper I could still take them out from across the map.
Its still good and fun to use though even after the nerf

I used to be an amazing gun that could do some decent damage as a marksman rifle from across the map but its been nerfed.
As someone who loved the cowboy event and who uses the revolver and the AK id say its more about the user though. If you feel like it doesnt work then its probably not for you.
I have gotten zero eliminations with throwing knives and riot shield etc but get eliminated by them alot.
I use every class when required and its an amazing skill to be able to switch and provide what the team needs in that specific match but I love the revolver and the 1887. The revolver does 74 damage per shot. Lights have 150hp mediums have 250 so it takes fair chunks out and when teamed with a turret or mines when defending its quick to kill.

I really wish I liked the revolver cause it's skins are so insanely clean, especially the solid red one, but as another person points out you pretty much have to head hit shots, alot of the kills you assists you got made me think "I could do that quicker with the akm or fcar" which sucks, revolvers are one of my favorite weapons

If you mean the hidden names it’s just an option in the settings.
Do you do hacks on the finals?

I agree, if it had better sights i would definetly use it more. Its the chuncky sights that dont work for me. The snub revolver does have kinda nice sights.
Revo is super fun, but u need a high skill lvl to play with it

I play medium / 1897(?) shotgun, it plays somewhat similar to the revoler in that the middle projectile basically asks like a sniper bullet and the other shots have a spread, so this feels similar in that it would give that precision without any forgiveness in aim...might give it a try :)

Then you should try using the Model 1887 it's great hipfire
@@fredzomka Yeah but im out of ingame currency right now, spent it all for the heavy motion sensor (cost 1200) :x
All the pellet firing shotguns have perfect hipfire
