    I have never used a Kubuki brush for foundation before so I was looking to see how to do it. I have always done my concealer the same way and your video had both. Seriously, my concealer has never looked as good as it did today. Thanks for the tip

    I have been wanting to try a flat brush, so this video is very helpful for me! I didn't know you could use it for concealer but will definitely try it out!

    This was so helpful! I recently got a kabuki brush because I wanted to change things up after, but I wasn’t sure about the technique since I’ve been using a sponge for so long. Thanks 😊

    How can you find which base is best for your skin?

    • @RitaAlmusaBeauty
      @RitaAlmusaBeauty  Před 2 lety +1

      Usually you can get samples at the department store beauty counters and you can test them out. You can also ask a professional for their advice based on your skin type. I’m also happy to help if you would like to share your skin type in your goals for a foundation I can give you some recommendations.

    You say to apply foundation with in a ‘downward’ direction. I was always told to go up and out. I do this with anything I apply be it cleanser moisturizer or foundation. I started at 16. Always. I’m 65 and hardly any sagging or wrinkles. Just a thought……

    • @RitaAlmusaBeauty
      @RitaAlmusaBeauty  Před rokem

      Great question! You gently apply in the direction of the peach fuzz, which is usually facing outwards and down.

    What about powder laying in lines when middle aged?

    • @RitaAlmusaBeauty
      @RitaAlmusaBeauty  Před rokem +3

      The Laura mercier is a fluffy light powder and if applied with a light fluffy brush (and sparingly), it should work well.

    foundation looks patchy when i apply why is that

    • @RitaAlmusaBeauty
      @RitaAlmusaBeauty  Před rokem +3

      Hi, it could be that you need to exfoliate your skin gently with a warm washcloth, then allow moisturizer to soak in for 5 min before applying a primer then little foundation, build as you go.. for best coverage.
