I need help here.. I did the process just as you have explained here but when I turned the fuel screw clockwise it stuck at some point where the RPM lowered only to 2900 and I turned it anti clockwise and then it went to 3.5krpm and stayed constant and I reduced the rpm to 1.5.. question here is why wasn't I able to get 1k rpm when I turned the screw clock wise in the 2nd step is there any fault with my carburetor screw ?

Your engine will.stop if the rpm is below 1000

I am owning a Bajaj Pulsar 150 , The RPM fluctuates a lot , it raises the acceleration Randomly (upto 4-5000Rpm) while riding as well as while the bike is in it's idling position . What to do bro ? Plzz do reply

This method doesn't work in 150 , i tried.. Just turn 2 full rounds which is company default and you will be good to go

I’ve a query. I started my Pulsar 220 after over 2yrs. Since it didn’t start even after changing the spark plugs, the mechanic opened and cleaned the entire carburettor. Though the bike seems to be running fine, the RPM is fluctuating slightly ever since when at idle. My main issue is that the RPM rises to 2200 when the bike is at halt position in traffic and the throttle isn’t applied at all. Generally it should be at 1000-1100 RPM.
Can you please tell what could be the exact cause of this problem? My mechanic said to replace the carburettor which I don’t want to as I feel it can be fixed without replacement.
Would really appreciate your help.
The problem looks like maintenance issue, your carburettor type should be fuel injection. So only one screw will be available for rpm adjustment. However verify spark plug, air filter, air leakage in carbureter. Finally ask mechanic to change or remapping the ecm\ecu. Check one by one and change if required

That is ordinary carburetor, so, turn 1.5 turns counter clock wise, from fully close position.

This is the procedure, for CV carburetor, or set the company setting. After a week riding, u have to check the spark plug.if, it's optimum colour.

I have tried the same, even though am not getting constant idle position, I can see some fluctuations always in my pulsar 150. What could be the reason for the fluctuations.
Saravanan Narayanasamy check air filter, spark plug engine oil. If there an issue just change it. Still your issue remains need to change the CDI

No, this procedure is only CV carburetor, so, turns should be bike to bike, .in old model carburetor u can turn 1 to 1.5 turns, .
