Still don't understand why Ahmed disagree Fahriye and Mehmed Giray married. Mehmed came from Crimean royal family. Still below than Ottoman dynasty of course, but other pashas clearly don't has noble backgroud as Mehmed.
Actually what they show here in the series is historically correct. The Ottomans never allowed the marriage of Ottoman princess to any Royals either they were Crimean Tatars , Safavids of Iran or the Anatolian Turkish Beyliks not because they thought these Royals below them or thought them of less noble. On the contrary these noble families were more royal than the Ottomans and the Ottomans were afraid that the descendants of these royals having Ottoman blood would lay claim to the throne and could threaten the main Ottoman male line in the line of throne. So the problem here is not low birth but royal birth .............

Fahriye was truly remorseful, she changed. It was naive to think she would live unpunished, but they should leave her where she was to live poor and do good deeds.
