Vazquez reminded jurors that Waldman testified that he filed a perjury complaint against Heard because he believed Heard had committed perjury.

I'm a bit embarrassed to say this but at the end of the speech, listening to camille's broken voice... I cried. Its clear she cares for justice, as much as I do (I'm not a Depp fan), and her words really came from inside. I can tell she is proud to be in that position. A position that might help someone innocent of such a heinous crime to get his life back.
I wish there were more Camilles in the world, and a lot less Amber Heard.
It costs money to have people like Camille represent you. Many innocent people have been jailed or worse because of people like Amber Heard.
unfortunately i was married, and soon to be divorced from someone very much like amber.
cheating, lying, accusing of intimidating her, using my children as weapons, stealing money from my family, my late grandmas money.
i had to go to counselling to try and get over all of that and more, i fell into a deep depression amongst other things, i needed my friends ,family and my daughters to pull me through.
even when confronted with evidence she would lie or make up stories to justify or deflect her actions.
i am still struggling psychologically, and even now she is becoming even worse with emotional abuse, blackmail and threats

Depps cool, he's not my FAVORITE ALL TIME actor so I agree. He's still a human being who was abused. And I recognized that. I actually swept it under the rug when I heard about it instead of finally learning about it.

When Camille started talking about, what type of person takes pictures of their husband struggling with their sobriety, all of that genuinely made me tear up. It’s insane. According to her, ANYONE that doesn’t agree with exactly what she says is a “liar” or “not telling the full story/truth”… everyone is wrong & lying BUT her. It’s her word or nothing. She can’t even own up to her own text messages, saying JD was talking about a certain topic but of course she wasn’t, even though it’s in the same text conversation. I’m also a makeup artist who performed MANY bruise & tattoo cover ups & I can tell you it’s very VERY HARD if not impossible to do a full coverup of such dark bruising while still maintaining such a “natural/non makeup” look on the clients face. I really hope the jury is smarter than that & there is justice for JD!

I don't know about anyone else, but while Camille was talking, I started to tear up. Johnny has been through hell. And I can definitely imagine what hell other real domestic violence victims go through.
I was abused by a woman, mentally and physically. When I tried to break up with her and get her to move out of my house, she told me that she would accuse me of abusing her. I didn’t think anyone would believe her. I was so wrong. She almost ruined my life. She has the same mental issues as AH. She abused me, and accused me of abusing her. She recorded me without my knowledge, just like AH. What a surprise that there isn’t a single recording of him beating her up! Same with me. She would push me, verbally abuse me, try everything to get me to hit her and I never did. She still managed to do immense damage to me, and she was never held accountable at all. This trial hits so close to home for me. It breaks my heart that someone went through what I did, but thankfully she is being exposed, and Johnny is being vindicated. I know he will have lasting emotional damage from her, but I hope he will be ok.

I am so sad to hear of what you went through. I went through a 34 year very abusive marriage and it almost destroyed me. My ex- husband severely abused me and our two kids. I was so wrong to put up with the abuse. The control and manipulation my ex had over me and our kids was horrendous. My adult son is a serious drug addict and alcoholic and has been on the streets for 21 years. My adult daughter has major issues and is a man hater. I went through extensive professional counselling for several years after our breakup and divorce. I learned to forgive myself and my ex- husband so I could move on and walk in deep healing and freedom. Forgiveness is so crucial to heal and it has given me deep peace and wisdom and compassion for others. May God bless you with his love, presence, wisdom and strength. There is a light at the end of the tunnel but it does take time, courage and hard work to process the pain, abuse and loss in healthy ways. I wish you the very BEST in your journey to wholeness, transformation and healing. I will remember you in my prayers. Take good care of yourself.

Agreed, because they will then reveal they're no longer relying on evidence, but only the persona and NON-EVIDENCE presented by one obviously untruthful and apparently disturbed individual. I'm literally shocked after this trial how much of toxicity and betrayal from his ex wife and her ex friends, that he treated like his family, he had to deal with the last years. I don't know how could he deal with it without having a depression or mental breakdown after hearing all those false allegations claimed by those ppl. Or maybe he just didn't wanted to talk about his mental state afterwards anymore. You can see he is a victim of dv here and he is the one with ptsd. I also admire him for keeping his promises, he is a very honest man and clearly has a strong will - he promised they will meet in the court and that she will never see his eyes again and he kept that promise 100%. Amber doesn’t actually write on the paper when she “writes.” She’s using a coping tactic that lawyers coach their clients to use so that she doesn’t look nervous or guilty to the jury.

As a woman who HAS been abused, in more than one way- she does NOT represent me, or others like me. She disrespects us. She also disrespects any man who has been abused. This case is not about gender. It is about the ACTUAL victim being able to get justice without having to go through more trauma. She may have gotten away with it with her ex wife this way, but he was an abused child - it hurt him deeply. He allowed her to put him down, he allowed her to beat him multiple times, and he never told truth about her when he could have. Then, she does it again for personal gain. She did it when he has been working on himself. She did it when he gained back clarity that it was never about love with her. And when clinical evaluations were done, he realized she does not care. She does not empathize. She was different. His children warned him about her. His friends warned him about her. He did not know why, but drawn to her. She - was indeed - so much like his mother, but he didn't know. He saw what she wanted him to see. He gained courage to fight back with the support of his family, friends, coworkers, and legal council.
