What do you think of these Cheap RC Cars? Of course there are way better options out there but for the money I dont think they are too bad! Apologies for lack of vids. Weather in the UK has been bad and I have just been generally very busy! Good news if weather is getting better and i have some awesome vids on the way so stay tuned and subbed if you haven't already! 😎💯👍
Those MN82’s are really popular I’ve noticed a lot of people modding them
Yes mate! Definitely one of MN models better release and for the money it’s worth it 😎👍😊
I actually got the MN82 for only $28 which is very cheap, love it very much ❤
Asked the police this morning if they could close down a half mile section of dual carriageway so I could do some speed runs. For some reason, they refused?
LOL!
Maybe they wanted to do some speed runs too?
I liked the MN82 aesthetics so much that I ordered it because it is also the most capable in its price category (50USD with an extra 1500 battery). When it arrived, I enjoyed it immensely for about 2 hours, but then it started failing and stopped working intermittently. So, I opened it up and saw that the board plugs were not properly soldered. I soldered almost every connection because I don't have a crimping machine, haha. Now, it has been working well. I don't really give it hardcore use; my obstacles are pillows and different ramps, so it makes no sense for it to fail so quickly.
I feel like every fan of these ditch that circuit board almost straight away after unboxing it, go figure, lol
@@mikev221 I did the opposite lol I programmed an Arduino Nano so I can use an external ESC with the stock board to drive a brushless motor haha, I do have a set of DumboRC X6PM radios as spares however
I would bypass the switch, those dinky switches are not rated to handle any high current
@@daijoubu4529 Wow. I'm not familiar with this, sounds way harder than slapping some parts, good job 👍. For me it's the waterproofing and running stock motor on 3s that does the trick. Now I'm curious about Arduino Nano 😅
@@mikev221 the stock board should work fine on 3S and the newer revision of the mn82 board does come with conformal coating already. But yeah it was way harder than I thought it would be, took me a couple of days of trial and error to figure it out, now if someone wants to do this, they just have to upload the code to the Nano, solder 4 wires between boards and add a 3 pin header and voila, no need to get new receiver if all they want is swap out the ESC
MN82 is 1/14 when I measured the wheelbase lenght, it would have been 1/12 if it was the short wheelbase LC79 but this is not it
I can afford a one wheel barrow drive it carries all my shopping from our world 💯
These little things seem to be more popular than they should be. I don’t understand the attraction but a solid review nonetheless.
It's a cheap RTR that works, good speed modularity and quite capable out of the box, scale looking and a Toyota, a "hobby grade" rigid body alone will cost more than twice that lmao
awesome video as always bro! im not huge into crawling but i do like the look of that Toyota haha! 😄
Thanks bro. 👊
I like the FJ ❤.
its okay for the money but plenty of better options out there!
Mini wheels
Nice little trucks, I had seen the red truck listed on Amazon for about $100 U.S. and it seems like a fairly reasonable price. I didn't think it would be that capable, probably light trails or pavement. It seemed to do just fine with what it was presented with.
They are only $40-60 tops on Ali Express if you don't mind waiting 2 weeks
Solid review!
Nah, not for me these two.
If I wanted something for the kids to mess around with I'd consider them but I'd personally have no use for them.
I'd much rather pay a little extra & go for one of the FMS mini crawlers.
Thanks for the video mate, it doesn't matter if I'd actually want to own the RCs you have in your video, I still enjoy watching your review videos.
It's all RC goodness in my book mate.! 😉 😉 😂 😂 👍 👍
I do think someone starting out would be much better off with something like an FTX tracer 👊👍 cheers mate much appreciated
🚗
I have the mn128 and its a very good trail truck but twice the cost of the mn82 but better motor, better esc, better gearbox. Mn82 eletronics are very basic and also the gearbox but the scale looks and body quality and details speak for itself. I think that as a trail truck with almost perfect scale looks this mn82 are good but anyone looking for a serious crawler or a performance trail truck stay away.
With some better wheels/tyres and maybe some upgrade electronics I think it could be very capable 😎👍
@@beyondRC even for mn128 i already have a 1060esc to install but waterproofed original esc with varnish clear cote and will drive the little car till the esc dies. But yes, a new esc, upgraded motor for a 380 or 390 and grippier tires can transform it but after that no a 50eur car anymore...best part is most parts for this brand are really cheap and available on alliexpress so anyone with skills can upgrade them, learn and have a lot of fun. Valid for new ones or experienced at this hobbie
Had an mn128 on sale in my country for only 40 usd 🤣 just as cheap as the mn82 i wanted to buy it to add into my mn collection but recently had fun with wltoys buggy so recently bought 144001 for the same money also on sale🤣
@@evoemperor3776 you are very lucky. To Portugal the cheapest i found was 110eur...and i delayed the buy because the previous month was 90eur...for 50eur i would have bought 2!lol
Probably because i am in an asian country why its cheap.
Nice appearance but they can't turn. The steering circle is very big and i hate it. So no from me, i would not spend my money on these two shits.
