- Three-time NBA champion and six-time NBA All-Star Stephen Curry discussed developing his identity as a leader, serving as a mentor to the next generation, and balancing his prolific basketball career with his role as a father.
“Understand the value of a team and of being around other talented people who can push you. Some people might think that’s threatening, but I knew that we together could push each other to heights that I don’t think any one of us could imagine. And that’s what we did.”
Curry also has set his sights beyond basketball, driven by a desire to inspire change, especially in the Oakland area. He founded his company SC30, Inc with his college teammate and friend Bryant Barr, MBA ’16, to partner with brands and fuel Eat Learn Play Foundation, which Curry started with his wife, Ayesha.
Curry was interviewed by Tylon Garrett, MBA ‘20.
Steph’s relationship with Jesus Christ is his upmost dedication in life. He is to be admired for his statements on his rewarding and gracious career. He loves Basketball. Moreover, his number 1, commitment is to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And then to his Wife and Family. May you continue to walk and live in divine Favor, Steph Curry.
Amen.

Just an amazing human being. Talk about how important it is to have a foundation set from your parents. That's where it all starts.
Steph was SOOO CUTE as a Kid!!!
Steph's life journey of family, faith, and playing basketball and being successful in spite of all odds is an awesome testimony for all of us!
"Like A Boss!" Thank you, Steph, you are the epitome of a Leader.
I'm glad Stephen went to Davidson College. I attended the Charlotte Youth Symphony Music Camp there in the summer of 1984, one year prior to attending Va. Tech as a freshman, and yes Dell Curry was our famous 3 point shooter while I was at Tech. 😁
Coach Greenberg fof Va Teach had the biggest mistakes of his life because the argument has been made that Steph and Seth should have been offered based on their family history alone, but Greenberg likely felt he couldn't afford to take a chance on two undersized guards who had barely played any AAU basketball. Well his decision to attend Davidson and be coached by Bob McKillop turned out to be a great choice for his career.
I love Steph and his family.
I just adore this young man, his wife and family!! I see now in the present 2022 how his life affects his teammates and how much not only them but other team players respect him!! He lets you know it’s GOD and his relationship with Jesus!! I just love STEPH CURRRAAAAY💙💛💙❣️

Well said, Steph! I can listen to you all day long. I hope you attend the GSB since now you had graduated college. I just want to reiterate your doing a good job surrounding yourself with good people with basketball or with SC30 INC that will make you look good and trust them to represent you. You know that you need to people on your team to be able to get to your goal. I learned that with my first job in NYC. My boss surrounded himself with great people and we are also all good looking. Lol. He was proud to walk with his team. Everyone had envied him.And money is not an object to him what ever takes to be successful! I’m excited at NBA finals. You do you Steph! 😍
P.S!!! THIS IS AMAZING and now 13 Years later - earned a COLLEGE DEGREE from DAVIDSON👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👨🏼🎓Congratulations Steph Wardell Curry!! Philippians 4:13 is working in your life!!!
Thank you Stephen and GSB! I've learnt a lot from this interview!
Great he wasn’t afraid to call the name of Jesus 🙏🏽
You are correct. God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind. Jesus said if you won’t own Him before men, He will not own us before our Father in Heaven. Be Blessed
GREAT INTERVIEW!
He was a good interviewer
He is one of my favorite players in the game of NBA!
Class ACT! 🏀❤️🩹🙏
Amen! The relationship with the Lord...
With the passing Bill Russel i listened to his interviews (thank you CZcams) in one he said " i never knew a great athlete that wasn't extremely intelligent" . This interview proves his theory .

Steph, I believe that you are who you are, the choices you made to attend a smaller college rather than going bigger. You listened to your inner spirit...God was ordering your steps. Continue to keep His Path in front of you!!! I love your Team work efforts 👌 and you express this whenever you get a chance ❤️ 💙. Whenever you get a chance...read Jeremiah 29:11. Keep on being Steph Curry, inspiring and uplifting !!!

kudos to steph, kerr, and the whole warriors organisation for refusing to go to trump's white house...wish the whole country had that kind of balls..
kd question was personal
Okay
Look Like Babies Awesome
Stephen Curry Tim Duncan LeBron James well them guys are it's more of them but I'm not going to name them all right now they all are low volume superstars what I mean by that is that low volume make no noise otherwise what I'm trying to say is to know about these guys you got to read about them or you would never know how great they really were they showed no emotion when it was playing in the in the game. Or else you have to LeBron is coming up in volume is because of the skip Baylor and Shannon sharp talk show talk to LeBron into existing otherwise he will be a very low volume player all over the world LeBron might make it because of Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless because they put his name out there otherwise the people is not watching the people is not watching them like they did the great Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant I mean their book is open so wide they were a must watch NBA player I mean you kept up with their team at all costs kept up with a time frame on TV or in Internet to watch them play because they were phenomenal players. Even after Kobe Bryant people stop watching because of interested enough to go pay your money to see them play. After that career you will never hear their name anymore
TV ex
His politics wishy washy
He is not a politician. We don’t always have to have a political view.
Would you seek legal advice from your pastor? Would you ruminate about the meaning of the original sin with your doctor? Would you ask your lawyer friend how to treat GERD? ...
Steph is one of the top professional basketball players EVER. He is into sports. While he may know some current events, his life does not often intersect with politics or political issues. I appreciate his authenticity, his self-knowledge and knowing which lane he travels best.
@@gg_Javier - Well Stated! Thank you.
