I played this game 13 years ago!! The menu of the game is something I remember more clearly than the matches themselves. The songs ignite the old flame so high. I wish I could play it again. ❤❤❤

Hey Mathwiz, I am so hyped for this series! When it comes to the calendar, I think you should use it, however, not only to get superstars' popularity up, but also do some training, etc... As for Rivalries, Nitro vs Helms might be a good one, if you turn Helms face. When it comes to Tag Teams, I believe Mark and Umaga would be a good pair, two powerhouses who would "destroy" each and every single tag team on Smackdown. You could also go for MVP and Kennedy, MVP and Chris Masters or Gregory Helms and Henry! Keep up the good work :)

MVP/Kennedy would be a great tag team. And if you want a lower card tag team, I’d recommend picking up Snitsky and pairing him with Helms, just to put other teams and singles guys over, or maybe even push them later down the line. Snitsky’s really low popularity, so he wouldn’t go for much and he’d be an easy grab.
I think the calendar’s pretty much the only conceivable way of winning this challenge…The other shows cheat so much with their ratings, it’s ridiculous.

Im ready for Them to Quit playing and Bring some of these Elements to Universe mode...cause i thought we were gonna get Popularity Overalls back in 2k18 it would've made sense cause of the power25

The only bad thing about this game is the small roster and lacks of Legends, the rest is Amazing!
that's why if they do this exact GM mode with the current roster today it would be close to perfect

I did my own ECW GM Mode save and tried to keep the roster as realistic as I could, with a couple of new guys. The roster was this....
Chavo Guerrero.
CM Punk.
Finlay.
Hardcore Holly.
Jeff Hardy.
Matt Hardy.
Mick Foley.
Rey Mysterio.
Sabu.
Sandman.
Shane McMahon.
Snitsky.
Terry Funk.
Tommy Dreamer.
William Regal.
Ashley.
Kelly Kelly.
Masters and Helms because they both came from ECW.
This game used to be super awesome. I think games now have lost their arcade feel and it's a tragedy.

You should've chose a full roster of legends and traded them for lots of people E.G John Cena for Elijah Bourke and Sabu
I have a question, Is it ok to start a 2K17 Universe mode when it's not the newest game? I don't want to buy 2K18 because It's almost similar and I mostly play Universe mode

I agree, but that's kind of the point. I wanted to use more lower popularity guys as a challenge to see if I can still win the GM of the year award by the end.

As for tag teams, I always create the team of Chris Masters and Mark Henry. I call them *The Mark Masters.*

Probably won't do MVP & Henry, because BrendenPlayz did that in his series if I recall correctly. King's Court sounds like a cool idea, though, especially since that was a thing back in the day.

If I were you mathwiz, I would turn title off so anyone can fight for the champions and they dont have to be in the top 25 to fight for the world title
That might not be a bad idea. Given how my roster is structured, it will probably just be the same top guys in those slots for a while lol.
True but if you wanted someone like Jeff hardy to go for the world title and he's not high enough in the power 25 then it will tell you the superstar isn't qualified. But its up to you, personally I always turn it off.
You can't have guys on losing streaks winning world titles tho guys

I think there's potential in a King Booker/MVP tag team. Both of them are very cocky and consider themselves to be above the entire roster, yet Booker sees himself as being MVP's mentor. Also, I think you should have just kept CM Punk face to begin with, and now you should turn him.
I quickly realized that making Punk a heel was a mistake.
Now that I've thought about it for a little while, I have an even cooler idea. You could have Cryme Tyme be King Booker's paid mercenaries. The contrast between their gimmicks would be pretty funny, and it works because all of them are heels.
