honest opinion i never really played gm mode that much as a kid , played it for like 30 minutes once and i was already like "nope,too much responsibility for me to handle man"

Played this game not that long ago and my entire roster was out with injuries
I played this game and I beat raw and ecw in ratings but I didn’t win gm if the year 😶😐
i would turn fatigue off, sounds like cheating but not really when the CPU’s brand’s superstars literally did not gain fatigue. genuinely just wasn’t a fair fight for the player so i just turned it off
Sauxe God I couldn’t smackdown I beat ecw but smackdown had like 3 title matches every week I tried to keep up with them but my champions kept on getting injured
Blake Andrews didn’t know you could turn that off maybe edge ,triple h ,Shawn Michaels and cm punk won’t have to miss the next 12 weeks
You can turn injuries off

He would have to run press events and the like, for an entire month, before a CAW could even challenge for a minor championship. Throwing a 20 popularity character in the main event, is a ratings killer.
Idea, create Brock Lesnar, Primo and Vladimir Kozlov and make a stable with them in your gm mode

To build popularity only do trophy events, you will have all of your superstars to 100 before you get to summerslam
Some tips to help you
1. You can use trophy dates to raise a superstar's popularity significantly without gaining much fatigue you can use this to raise the popularity of a jobber to trade him to other shows ( I got John cena and Edge for Snitsky)
2. You need storylines to get better match ratings
3. Use Advertising promos to get money quickly .
i love this game and i love this game mode and i genuinely want it to return some day. that being said, one thing that was always a damn near game breaker for me was when you look at the other brand’s match cards, you’d have the stupidest most ridiculous shit happening. like handicap matches where melina is going against john cena and kane. yet somehow my actually competent match cards would still get lower ratings. so if this game mode ever does come back, i hope to god this is fixed.

A good way to exploit trade is by giving a wrestler that you don’t want and taking him in trophy dates until it maxes out their popularity by 100 and you can get basically almost anyone with this trick
AyyLmao yes but it can backfire if they have a high overall. They will stay on 100 pop and just kill you in ratings cause of that

I literally just finished playing few a hours of this smvsraw 08 Gm mode and I have to say my opinion of this mode is still the same as it was 12 years ago it's a pain in the arse it's hard to get ratings no matter what Rivalries I had going not to mention my Superstars kept getting injured it just gets annoying the further I went along

U can unlock the Legends by playing through the Hall of Fame mode & then u can buy them in the store & switch the options to draft them on.
