- A&Z #1010 - Randy Santel vs Carmen's "60oz in 60 Minutes" Cheesy Breakfast Burrito Man vs Food Challenge Record at Carmen's Apples & More in Joplin, Missouri. After canceling the rest of my planned Texas & Southwest USA Tour at the end of June 2021, I headed home and let my body rest and recover for about 1 month. Then I made the trip from Milwaukee, Wisconsin back to Springfield, Missouri so I could fully move the rest of my stuff out of my apartment I lived in while attending Missouri State University. I spent a week attempting 7 different food challenges within a reasonable driving distance from my apartment. For food challenge #1, I traveled down to Joplin, Missouri so I could attempt the "60oz in 60 Minutes" Cheesy Breakfast Burrito Challenge at Carmen's Apples & More. I had 60 minutes to finish three of Carmen's 20oz breakfast burritos. Each burrito consisted of a giant flour burrito tortilla filled with 6 real eggs, 12 fried tater tots, lots of Cheddar Jack shredded cheese, and a meat of my choosing. I ordered 1 sausage, 1 bacon, and 1 ham breakfast burrito. To make things harder on myself and to train for upcoming challenges, after finishing the base eating challenge, I planned to attempt to finish a 4th breakfast burrito, starting an additional record challenge at Carmen's. I was initially trying to win my $18 breakfast burrito meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and the 3rd spot on the Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with Carmen's Apples & More for the fantastic food, drinks, chocolate covered pineapple, and hospitality!! Thanks also to the amazing people who came up that evening in July to watch and meet me!! I appreciate everyone in Joplin, MO and all around Southwest Missouri who watches videos and supports our hard efforts!!

Carmen's 60oz Cheesy Breakfast Burrito Man vs Food Challenge in Joplin, Missouri ($18):
- Carmen's Apples & More has been serving the Joplin, Missouri area for many years now.
- There are many different candies available, and they now serve breakfast and lunch.
- The breakfast menu has giant breakfast burritos available, with your choice of meat(s).
- A giant flour burrito tortilla is filled with 6 real eggs, 12 fried tater tots, and shredded cheese.
- You can fill your burrito with ham, bacon, sausage, or none. Each weighs around 20oz total.
- For this "60oz in 60 Minutes" Challenge, you have 1 hour to finish 3 of these ~20oz burritos.
- Winners receive all three $5.99 burritos free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Wall of Fame.
- I chose to eat a 4th breakfast burrito and help start an additional record eating challenge.
- If you can break my record set in this video by eating 4.5 breakfast burritos or more, you get all the base prizes, and you get to name the challenge too. There may be an additional incentive prize as well. Please contact the restaurant for details or just to schedule your challenge ahead of time so they can be ready.

In Missouri everything is cheaper than in California and Washington because of general overall cost of living being much lower.

Guess the important thing is whether or not someone’s personally happy with their performance, but it good to see Randy back on form and overachieving.
Food looked great! Every time I hear that “Randy!” chant, it makes me think of the South Park episode of Randy daydreaming about everyone chanting his name. Haha, kills me every time.
Love that you go to these mom and pop shops. Food quality looks so much better too. $18 for the challenge is well worth the price even if a regular joe can't finish it. Wish this gem was closer.
