Ahhhhhhhhh~ Take me back to my childhood. "GREEN, BLACK, AND BLUE, MAKES THE COLORS IN THE SKY!" I used to get 100% combo for Butterfly on DDR with my eyes closed. Gosh, I would love to play on one of these machines! I can't wait to come to Japan and try one!

I would like to play this game, but i'm kinda shy person af. :(
I have never played this (I would really love to), so I will speak as one who frequents playing other dance rhythm games. The hardest part as a beginner is literally working up the nerve to get on the stage. In order to do that, you need to remind yourself that no one is going to ridicule you for trying it no matter how new you are to the game or how "badly" you do. Like everything, technique takes time to develop. But I assure you, as you start playing, you begin to focus more on the game than your surroundings, and it is going to be fun.
In short, my recommendation is to just try it a few times. You might not do well at first, but persistence is key. Focus on enjoying the learning process, because no one will consider you a fool for trying.
So I'm not the only one who have thought like that.....
I used to be like you when I started playing pump it up. At first I was super nervous but once you start getting used to it you forgot about your surroundings and start playing better.

Last year when I started playing this game I was the same way. It's tough to put yourself out there and leave yourself to be vulnerable, but keep in mind that everyone else looking on is also thinking the same thing. The difference is that you'll have the gall to play instead of just being a bystander.
