    As I’m off Twitter, had to come here only to say how good the audio pod intro was… “pursuing the treble like a young Aled Jones” made me lol, and is the reason Jimbo is the best.

    Totally not surprised it was Redknapp who said that quote but not surprised either that Jamie got Carra'd away by all the Klopp farewell gush to say that. Thanks for the work all season TFS 🙌🏽

    Either hurry up and charge Man City or let them off citing why, because allowing them to continue winning stuff with this cloud over the Premier League, is making a farce out of the league and anything they win. They can charge Everton and Forest quickly, but City has a 'we've set a date', but not told us when, is ridiculous. You can't talk about 'what a team Man City are!' when, potentially, it was a team built on a very dodgy basis.

      Its more complicated than the others crimes and there are more charges. Just like criminal cases these factors matter.

      @@archiedonnelly2948 UEFA started their investigation in 2018, and then charged them in 2020. UEFA already laid the foundations of the charges. It really shouldn't take that long. Like I said, either charge them or let them off, because it's just silly now considering City will probably do the double this year. How many more Premier Leagues would Klopp have won if City had been charged and punished accordingly when they should have?

      @@danzel1157 Yeah, City will get their slap on the wrist ....looking forward to it....... but in the last 7 years United, Chelsea and Arsenal have spent much more than City, so looking forward to seeing them get charged too, unless the Billions they spent were all totally legal 🤣......

      @@JoeScottish Have those other clubs you mention been charged too then? If they have then I'll hold up my hands. Meanwhile, we are left with the reality of Manchester City having been charged with breaking financial fair play rules around 100 times over a nine-year period, starting in 2009 and going on until 2018. Bear in mind that, during the period, Man City won the Premier League three times. Only City fans would be happy with that.

      Very much so. It's also funny that they finished with under 90 points - how do you expect to beat this City team with that total?

  • @syc2543
    @syc2543 Před 13 dny +1

    This season was a coin toss. Hell better officiating in the Newcastle game and one of the derbies (Fulham, West Ham) and Arsenal win.
    In anycase City have just maintained their level. Usually they beat Arsenal and get 6 pts so if they did they'd have had 95pts. They didn't really drop off.
    Next season's winner will need 97+ pts. I feel. Fingers crossed its Arsenal.
