The delay could be a blessing in disguise. Perhaps they are working on a beefing it up with extra content and better work overall. In either case I can wait and will be revisiting CFYOW and it's lore.

@@justinbeatrix401I think the delay on the second Blu-Ray was just a production issue, but they aren’t really comparable. Small improvements for the Blu-Ray are just a bonus not a guarantee. They delay the anime so they’re able to finish it and not rush. There’s a level of quality they want to hit. They aren’t just delaying the anime for no reason. The more time they’re given the better it’ll look.

@@GammaRingHunter What do chinese games have to do with anything? Wukong is a chinese game and it beats everything the West and JP game companies are producing atm. Its not like you need a high-end pc to run these anime games on a pc, infact you can play every anime fighting games on a mobile or tablet 🙄

This Bleach drought has been insane. Atleast back in the day after the anime stopped, we had the manga, then the Novels, Brave Souls within the year roundabout. Now... this is a familiar feeling. Hope they deliver an all-timer with cour 3.
I for one don't like Taguchi's direction so I'm glad we are getting someone else to direct. Now let's hope he's better.
Regarding the game, yes we need a proper BLEACH competitive fighting game or at least a good arena fighter like Tenkaichi 3. We've been waiting for so long, this series more than deserves it.
Shoutouts to Klab for holding it down during this drought just like they did before the anime returned.
Bbs is the first anime game that will be available on mobile, PC AND ALL CONSOLES this summer.
I bet the realease date trailer is gonna be in july 6 or early August

@@Manuel-gt9jfhonestly that anime is not coming anytime soon all these dragon ball CZcamsrs and twitter accounts been click baiting and saying there’s gonna be a trailer, a release date, announcements from different events ever since it ended. The only good thing we have to look forward is budokai 4 which will be fire and a movie we all know will suck just like the last movie. The manga is on indefinite hiatus and the content wasn’t that good anyway with the exception of mui, the broly movie and battle of gods. And we got d riders praising that shit like it’s quality content we in the mud rn.

Dragon Ball fans is getting a anime they never asked for and want season 2 of dragon ball super, the manga is on hiatus too. dragon ball sparking zero is the only thing going for them. And even that's getting hate because of stiff movement, vegeta ssj blue evolution, and the splitting screen only being in the hyperbolic time chamber but there is still people who like these(except the stuff animation part. So stop crying like a lil ah bich

The bleach drought is getting to me. The more delays and no important news, the less hype I start to feel. I honestly hope the delays are worth it and the action animation is improved
Its not necessarily delay, anime production needs time. Keep in mind demon slayer season 4 had 1 year production time for just 8 episodes (sure some of it are extended episode 1,7,8)! which is pretty normal for a healthy 13 episode cour. I think not only just action animation is going to be better but overall idle animations too (movements, expressions, etc).
The musical cast's twitter was quite fun too during those days too
With the immense hype around Sparking they probably don't want to get overshadowed by it. So it's safe to assume that after October, maybe in the Game Awards we could get that Bleach game announcement.

BLEACH got Heat the Soul just 4 years after it started publication, too. Then there was dozens of games that followed.
yes but kaiju #8 has only had its anime april of this year and all ready has an entire consol game in development (have we learned nothing from games like black clover quatert knights and others that released far far to early in the animes life) bleach had its anime a full year before heat the soul released and hasnt had a consol game in 13 years and released the first two cors of the tybw released which was one of if not the most watched anime at the time and all we get is another crappy mobile game and announcement that klabs making another game and nothing else and a pokemon go bleach version they don't even have to give a trailer or even the god danm name just announce there making a bleach consol game and we will be happy

I been waiting on Soul Resonance since it was announced. I signed up for the Beta & didn’t get it in (might of but I didn’t check my email 😅) so I been ready to play I’m only playing Wuthering Waves because I’m waiting on Soul Resonance & 7 Deadly Sins Origins on mobile 😤
Like James the character roster for bleach should look like the character select screen on dbz raging blast 2 they have enough character for it probably even more so

At least bleach brave souls anniversary is next month. Brave souls isn’t nearly as hype as it used to be but anni always sparks excitement for 2 weeks.
Soul resonance news should be soon. If they don’t release that earlier than they should it’s gonna get crazy preregistration numbers. But if it’s gonna come out 2024 they should’ve showed trailers and gameplay months ago. I hope it’s delayed to 2025.
Apart from that they need to stop sitting on all the stuff they have under wraps and start revealing it. It’s BS that stuff keeps getting trademarked or leaked but none of them give us something to look at.
I don’t care about taguchi so it doesn’t matter to me but there’s like no actual evidence he’s changed jobs or is being replaced. It’s just some bad google translate. And even if his title changes for all we know he could be doing the exact same role.
People keep saying support the gacha games that way we will get a good console game. We supported a gacha for years just for another gacha to be announced, as good as it looks it's still a gacha and you won't be able to fully enjoy every character. What I'm getting at is that if we support a gacha game they will keep pushing for the gacha route.
Finally someone that has common sense. If gacha games rake in big profits they'll just make more.

Profit is profit, and having multiple sources of profit is still better than 1 source. And this is not only about profit it's still about "giving the fanbase what they want since a decade"
There is interest. And like James explained it keeps the series and franchise hyped/relevant and talked about till the manga/anime continues.
By your logic, if it's just about money they should just stop producing any anime/manga related things and invest everything in just produce multiple mobile games
Idk who is saying to support the gacha so we get a good console game but even though it’s not necessarily wrong that’s not why people want soul resonance.
They want to support it because the dev team are actually fans of bleach and have passion for it to make it good. They literally made a new studio called “black moon studios” for this game. The cutscene for ichigo vs byakuya is better than it is in the anime.
Yes it’s a gacha game so it’s far from perfect but it also has many advantages that a console game wouldn’t have. Bleach is not dragonball it’s not going to get a super high budget console game. If you’ve played any of the bleach console games you will see that they are low effort, low budget and not very good. The overwhelming likelihood is that this gacha game will perform better than any bleach console game possibly could.
Just found out bleach brave souls is on console now how kool it’s out today and it’s free
delaying it a month or a year ain’t nothing close to 14 years we waited that much we can wait for what’s to come

I don't think it's annoying at all that we haven't got a new Bleach game yet. I honestly think it's praiseworthy because it shows they are putting time, care and effort into their craft which imo is the bare minimum when it comes to artwork.
As in a bleach game James I want something with a game that’s versus a combination and of mechanics and visual from dragon ball X raging blast 2, final fantasy dissidia, and jump force
The best bleach game is and still will be after soul resonance is gonna be the one from the DS that was 2D making a game in those line will truly flesh out the franchise as a whole and marketing will break the internet

it dosnt help that soul resonace is just a slap in the face because guess what its a mobile game something bleach already has THREE OF and just like all other mobile games it going suffer from being a gacha most definitely and unironically a turn based strategy game would be great for bleach in either original story or following cannon as long as its faster then the ds tbs game they made it fits not only dose it solve the transformation problem by making all characters with a bar to transform for the whole map but also it fits the war theme of bleach think about it all the genric enemys and allies could be facelss quincy , soul reapers or hollows depending on the arc and the top tiers like the sternritter Ichigo kenpachi etc could be playable characters and enemy bosses while also setting itself from the other 2 big three members game with naruto being the arena fighters one piece being the dynasty warriors
I'm not frustrated, we went a FULL DECADE with no new Bleach content. If the anime staff is taking their time to make it as good as possible, I say let them have as much time as they need. We already got two seasons so it's not like they aren't going to finish it. Plus, we are starting to enter uncharted territory since this is right around the time Kubo's health started failing him and Shonen Jump was rushing him to finish the story. I think these lasts two seasons are going to have by far the most new content added in.
Except pierrot has yet to prove that when they delay something it’s to improve it, remember when they delayed the cour-2 blu-ray? And all they released was an overpriced glorified tv version of the anime?

WAIT, so Taguchi is out? I'm both sad and happy at the same time. Sad because the guy clearly had a passion for Bleach, and he gave us many good moments like Yhwach vs Yama, Zaraki vs Unohana and the squar zero fight etc.... But his production certainly had some problems. Mainly stiff aniamtion and lack of polish on "non focus" parts i.e scenes outside of the BIG fights like Yama vs Yhwach.

I will never understand Bleach tubers hyping up Soul Resonance. You're really ok with giving that much attention to yet *another* mobile gacha game?? I don't care if it looks good (which it does), but, do we really want to support that part of the industry more? You are the intermediates between developers and marketing teams and the actual fans. Is everyone really ok with spending more money on a *fourth* mobile cashgrab? It's ridiculous. Our standards as a fandom are abysmal.
No wonder they didn't bother to make another large scale Bleach game for consoles and PC when people are ready to break their piggy banks for mobile games. Not to mention people buying that literal ungodly mess that was Jump Force. An actual asset flip, the laziest kind of anime game. Yet here everyone is supporting it. Your wallets speak louder than your words. Use them properly.
The bleach gacha games perform so poorly compared to the gacha games of one piece, dragonball, etc. those series keep getting console games despite fans throwing money at mobile ones.
None of the bleach gacha games make any money. So you’re incorrect on all counts there the gacha games have nothing to do with console ones, except maybe if the gacha game was a crazy success we may have gotten a proper game by now.
If you’ve actually looked into soul resonance it’s by far the best game bleach has gotten. Not every series gets treated like dragonball. Most likely a bleach console game would be a cheap cash grab. Soul resonance has devs who are genuine fans of bleach. The dev company name is “black moon studio”. The game is worth playing for the cutscenes alone which are better than the anime.
