I think this is one of my favorite franchises of gaming because I was with it from the very beginning playing the 2005 version from a very young age, and it even came out on my birthday! In 2005, we are the same age and it is still my favorite game of all time.

I miss the old games so much. They may not have had the best graphics or gameplay, but there were so fun. Crazy that there are still planets and map in the old ones we haven't gotten in the new ones.

The PSP Battlefronts are SOOOO underrated
I know. It's really sad. I really enjoyed playing them, especially renegade squadron. I really liked the fact that in renegade squadron you could actually customise your character however you wanted and have all kinds of special weapons and items that you could use.
I just wish they would have ported them to ps2…

I feel like Battlefront 3 will be launched in like 5 years, I mean, 5000 with maul to get the old master skin 👁️👄👁️
We need like a year of playing with maul, and 2 years more to enjoy getting the skin lol
And also 4 months for the princess skin and other 4 months for the farmer skin.
I have the maul skin from a month of playing (PS plus) If you can average 100-200 kills on supremacy with any of the separatist heroes it'll take you around games 50 games or less.
Actually quite easy in reality, especially if you use grievous like I did.

I know alot of people will disagree with this but battlefront ll 2017 is my favorite battlefront game because along with fallen order it made me gave hope and be hungry for more star wars games to come out.

Elite Squadron actually used assets from the cancelled Battlefront 3, including ground to space and the story.
yeah I thought he overlooked Elite Squadron a little too much. That fact that game has Battlefront's 3 story is pretty notable.

You forgot to talk about the Battlefront 2 2005 Xbox DLC that brought back a new version of Rhen Var and Brought in Ventress and Kit Fisto, and the 2004 battlefront DLC that brought in Jabba’s Palace
I'm so in love with anything clone wars related, and bf2 is the best game out there for me to immerse myself in that era. I was hooked from the moment they added ARC troopers and clone commandos. I'm almost embarrassed to admit how much time I've sunk into that game.

I’ve played Renegade Squadron and thought it was pretty fun. I’ve also played the EA Battlefront games, but the originals will never be topped

Battlefront II was a great game, but it for sure could have been a lot better.

I remember having star wars battlefront: elite squadrons. And i remember loving it.
What I really want is a Star Wars BattleFront like game but entirely around the Clone Wars TV Show.
It aslo needs to feel like the original games and not limited like the new ones and take the points crap out too and let us use tanks and vehicles freely
The BfII we have now gives me the same feeling of playing the original BfII as a youngling back in the day. If it can do that well, I'd say I'm satisfied. More content would still be great though
I remember getting my parents to buy me a PSP for the sole reason of playing Renegade Squadron. Seeing the asteroid command post on Space Coruscant blew my mind.

Battlefront (the real 1st one) was really the best game. Even like it more than 2 in some ways. Just had a different feel. Jumping in a Jedi starfighter in Naboo was the absolute best.

My dreams for a battlefront iii would be the type of aesthetic that the battlefront 2015 had, it felt so immersive, and them just getting it right the first time, building from there. If they can manage that, then the franchise would cap off in a great way
My dreams for a battlefront 3 would be the gameplay of battlefront 2004/2005 with the battle point system of ea battlefront 2017 (for reinforcements and heroes only) , graphics of bf 2015, and improved gunplay.

Battlefront 2004 and 2005 are still the best in the series. I regularly play them to this day. Mods make them better too.
The number one thing I wish they would do right now is remaster most of the old games. I would like to see the original battlefront one and two as well as the force unleashed one and two possibly some of the old starfighter games and clone commando. That would make my year if any of those came out and we’re remade or remastered.
Honestly I just want a mix of content from Bf II (old and new) and some new heroes
Never got to play the first one from 2004 but I still have my copy of BF 2 for PC and i had the white Vader psp that came with renegade squadron which I loved as well! Elite squadron looks good I never got to play it though and as for the new battlefronts from EA... Yeah not even in the same League
I have a feeling that with battlefield taking the hit it has, they may want to go down the route of making a shooter to try and capitalise on both genre’s to try and expand on battlefronts success and pick up more of the market by merging the two

I had Elite squadron and loved it. Yeah there were things it could of done better but on the whole I thought it was brilliant
I wonder what swbf would be like if pandemic studios had today’s resources and funding.
It’s a shame. I gave up on battlefront 1 (new) before the dlc came out. I missed out on that experience but I did return to battlefront 2 in December. And was able to feel some of the magic that game tried to bring for a year.

Bespin is my top number 1 planet to fought in ps2 Star Wars battle front 1 and battle front 2015 and battle front 2.

Man I did enjoy Dice’s battlefront 2 I just wish they had the classic galactic conquest mode with more traditional maps for offline mode it would have made it a truly perfect game

You over looked Battlefront Elite Squadron a little, that game's story has been confirmed to be the story of Battlefront 3. So I would say that is at least notable.

@@MrZackavelli hell yeah, especially the 1st one. It took the original GTA idea and brought it to a different setting and plot and made a whole new thing. Now GTA is using that same model but still in urban areas. I enjoy Mercenaries more than a ton of other new games. Having that open world feel is awesome and not being forced down a specific path all the time is so much more fun. I'm waiting for them to make a Bad Batch game with mechanics similar to Clone Commandos w/ that mercenaries open world feel to it. After the series starts of course but before wouldn't hurt either kinda like Star Wars: Bounty Hunter
They should just have a game completely dedicated to the 7 seasons of the clone wars and have other heroes that are less mainstream like Mace Windu and Kit Fisto
I still like the 2004 and 2005 ai better than 2017's instant action ai. 2017 ai stands around for no reason. 2005/2004 does too, but at least they do it in combat, not at spawn like 2017 lol

I wish Free Radical’s Battlefront 3 actually got to come out, allegedly it was mostly finished. Pandemic’s Battlefront games and the PSP ones by Rebellion were some of my favorite games as a kid. I still play BF2 to this day.
Don’t have much to say about the EA ones. The first one was more barren than the original at launch and I never played 2 given the huge controversy about it pre-release.

You missed a battlefront game. There was a ds game for battle front. The campaign was had players play as x2 as he would go against the other clones to dave a jedi who would be revealed to be his genetic origin. (Technically speaking, he met his father)

I think a remastered is possible in the future. I mean people hate the Sequels so much that it wouldn’t be a problem but they could add better movement and add stuff for free

I would really like it if dice made battlefront 3 with the Jedi combat system of fallen order. It would make the lightsaber hero combat so much better in my opinion.
Not really as though Jedi fallen combat is amazing it wouldn't work in a multiplayer game as there to many things going on and it would incredibly slow making it easy for you to get killed so a similar one between 2005 and 2017 would be the best as it can work.
After Battlefront 2 (2005) it evolved... just backwards.

Of ea were to implement a battle pass like call of duty they could make big bucks with a new game. They also need to push for a better single player experience that will keep players coming back after the online community fades
can you imagine a star wars battlefront mobile game in today's day and age seeing how mobile games are now, tbh it would be pretty awesome to have battlefront on the go but knowing EA they would try to monetize the shit outta it like they do with FIFA mobile or something

I’ve been playing the EA battlefront 2 a lot lately
This was a cool video to put together, but I feel the Cancelled Star Wars Battlefront 3 deserved wayyy more talk time, as there is so much to discuss about this game and in my opinion why it was the Battlefront to kill all Battlefronts, far beyond what EAs Battlefront 2 ever delivered on, as well as discussing other things which you missed about Free Radicle Design already having a Star Wars Battlefront IV in the pipeline and after Free radicle were unable to release there near to finished game, Lucas Games tried getting other studios to pick up the IP but no body would until Slant Six games had a crack and tried creating Star Wars Battlefront Online, but this too would never see the light of day... Also it would’ve been nice to see more raw gameplay of EAs Star Wars Battlefront 2015, as you only showed snips of the trailers....

Be sure to check at the link I just added to my above comment, as it details a lot of things directly from the developers, as it’s a very interesting game in my opinion, and very disappointing it never saw the light of day as I personally believe If it did, it would’ve set a new hight for what we should expect from a Battlefront game.
I don’t understand why EA didn’t make the Original Star Wars battlefront 3. I mean can you imagine having space to ground in a modern graphics engine. It would be Amazing and beautiful. Literally just remake the original battlefront 3 and people will be very happy
