    I'm really not a fan of trying to map out which rides I want to ride 2 weeks ahead of time. Its better than trying to wake up at 7am but both systems are too much planning for my blood.

    • @athenagreen5390
      @athenagreen5390 Před 15 dny

      Waking up isn't the issue if you're already rope dropping. The big issue is that if you're close enough to the front when you tap and fingerprint into the park, you also had to book LL and VQ at that exact moment. Overall this new system is just limiting the amount of LL at Magic and Hollywood, which will make all lines faster for everyone.

      I tend to agree, I actually don't think it's very beneficial to plan your park days out a week ahead of time but it seems many others think differently. It feels like this system is a carrot to get people to buy Genie+/LL and gtd them at least 3 rides. I tend to think people were buying Genie + and not really knowing how to maximize it. At least now people can plan ahead an gtd 3 rides. Gone are the days of stacking LL's for tier 1 rides, that will not be possible here.

    Great crash course, answered most of my questions. One I still have i, I am doing a split stay at DVC at the end of August will I be able to get Multi and Single pass for the entire trip 7 days before the first stay or will it be split into 2 - 7 day periods one for the first and the other for the second stay? The stay are continuous.

    I would love to know your opinion(s) on strategizing which rides to book/how to at least start the day (first couple hours at each park) with the new system. Obviously it could change after you start using it, but I would love a video like this with your ideas of strategies for those of use who don’t have much time to learn the new system before our trip.

      It's nonrefundable, but Genie+ was also nonrefundable and you could explain your situation to guest relations and they would sometimes refund on a case by case basis.

      You will have to give your US TA your password to be able to log into the app on your behalf. I would recommend making a spreadsheet for your TA with your ‘first choices’ for them to boom on your behalf. Problem is…not everyone uses a US TA. In Australia, most people either book directly themselves, or they use local Australian TAs.

    As an Incredi-Pass Holder AND staying at a Disney Resort Hotel in November, can we still make reservations 7 days in advance? We have already made our Park Reservations for each day. Since we can also park hop as an AP, will Lightening Lane Multi-Pass recognize that we can jump to another park after the first lightening lane is used?

  • @CarolCap131

    Terrified at how much time they will give you to complete all transactions before timing out, especially on first day. I know what two of my multi pass choices will be and thr two single passes I want but worried about doing it all in one shot when my reservation is July 31 so I’d be reserving on July 24, the first day of the new system. I’m 76 and don’t have very fast fingers. It sounds like you wouldn’t be alble to book the multi pass, check out and then go back and do single pass on separate transactions or do you disagree. Thanks Quincy for calming me down on this.

    • @christineoneill759
      @christineoneill759 Před 15 dny

      Yeah, I’m also wondering about how it will work to pick your times and then check out. I’m assuming you’ll pick your times and they’ll be held for 5-10 minutes while you finish the transaction, but it would really suck to be mid-transaction and to get an error because your time is no longer available.

    Would love for you to test whether booking a super early time slot for something and then just missong it will allow you to book your new 3rd LL from wherever you are ( eg in bed) We need to figure out a way to still stack in the evening for those of us who want to avoid rope dropping at all cost. Genie + was like a game i took great pride in winning at, so trying to figure put how to win at multipass. Also, would love for you to test if missing a LL will allow you to book the next at another park. Also, please test ho easy it will be to modify your 3 pre selected and then newly scheduled LLs to other parks/rides.
    I also assume that they will release more LLs on day of like they do now after seeing if the ride is working well that day. Assume they will likely add charcter meet and greets day of as well once they finalize staffing/ call outs for the day.

    Just renewed our Annual Pass...then Disney pulled the DAS from us AFTER we renewed! The goal...just get everyone to pay more. Last year we will go to Disney and we will sue WDW at the end of the year for the total LL charges. We are Universal Premier Members...certified our IBCCES account...DONE. Thanks Universal!!! Next year is going to be EPIC ;)
