this stuff gives me yeezus vibes, crazy to think ye was trying to emulate this sound to a certain degree back then, esp when listening to the yeezus 2 concept leaks. good stuff.
Both this and Yeezus pull from similar resources in the NY club scene of the late 00's and early 10's, some of the producers behind Yeezus are pioneers of the sounds connected to "hyperpop", although since they are such forward facing producers they don't really fit the label (Arca, TNGHT, Evian Christ).
