- I am so excited for all of the LEGO Technic 2024 sets! These have truly increased interest for the theme from all fans, and more people are trying lego technic for the first time as a result of this. I am most excited for the LEGO Technic 42176, because it will introduce a brand new motor assembly that will make LEGO cars extremely fast!

The volvo set is awesome, but I'm not that big of a fan of integrated hub with motors in the RC model.
It does limit your ability to use it in a variety of creations, but I’m honestly just happy to see a motor with BuWizz like power
agreed! im so hype for the porsche after veing disappointed at first. Learning of the new hub makes me excited for it.

I bet it will be slower than normal motors.
I m waiting to see what will happen, but i wished they would have made a light hub, faster motor and a rechageable regular hub as 3 different pieces instead of 1 massive specialized chunk XD
We are facing towards the right direction but personally I wouldn't call it a comeback. 170 dollars is a ridiculous amount of money considering the rc cars you mentioned cost 40 dollars in the 2000s plus you are always limited to pretty much the same setup with all the motors etc being one unit. The volvo is cool but nowhere near as great as the 42043 or 42030, 42009 or basically anything before that. Only sets I keep an eye out for are the icons cars and minecraft
About the pneumatic set : it s shitty. I don't see any other way to put it, it s not a bad set, but it is just a classical pneumatic set with no new functions or anything. When i first saw it, i hoped they used the "external generator" of the excavator to hide an air tank (it would have been a great occasion for the come back of this piece and makes a functionality of pluging unpluging it) but nope, you only get 1 pump, 2 switch and 2 cylinder for a 200€ set. As i said, it s not a bad set, the price is correct, but for this budget, i would want something more than just another excavator. The pneumatic system is just a plus to this set and not its main asset. In functionality, the lunar LRV technic set seems way better, with even new pieces and all. About the Porsche GT4e performance, I am kinda reserved for now. What i mean is that a new lights system, more powerful motor and rechargeable battery are awesome, but making it 1 compact unit with no compatibility with the other elements from power up (no plug) system is not what i want. New motors more powerful : YES but there they go only by 2 in 1 solid unit, with a 3rd motor which will be regular, a light system that prevent putting as many lights as we want and all. I would have prefer a new battery for the classic hub, a separate motor, and a "light hub" which would be smaller but only dedicated to lights. For moc opportunity, i think it would have been way better. So for now i waiting to see what will happen with this rc unit...
I miss the old technic sets, the Volvo truck didn’t appear well I was expecting the flatbed truck to be a dump truck and excavator to be both control plus
That Porsche does not looks like Porsche at all... Also that new motors-hub combo is waaaay too big in my opinion.
I am excited for the volvo truck but that is it really i am not the car guy.
I will still wait for a discount because 200$ is a bit steep i first want to see what the truck can do aswell.
sure the car coming with a new motor unit is great, but does it have a differential? my one major issue with technic cars as of the past few years is not having diffs, they focus too much of aesthetics were being technic sets should focus on function
I would think all RC cars have differentials. Or maybe the new motor has like two outputs at the rear, and automatically adjusts the speed of each depending on the turning radius. While it’s a cool feature, it will limit the motor to very specific applications

0:57 I don't mean to burst your bubble, but we don't know how fast the new integrated motor hub will run yet, and won't until the set comes out and we are able to test it. It has half the voltage of the other rechargeable hubs, so we know for sure that it's not going to have much power and will likely only be useful for one purpose, provided that it is not exclusively produced for this one set and then immediately discontinued afterwards. So while I greatly appreciate your enthusiasm, we should not judge a book by its cover and get our hopes up right away. Even though the set package claims the motors to be 'high-speed', advertising can and does trick us often and this new motor may not actually run as fast in reality as LEGO would like us to think. One thing to know for sure is that this new hub wil certainly not run as fast as a BuWizz motor and the original buggy motor.

Grand comeback? There's no set without "BUT" in this year. That Prosche is a stepback, and comparing it to Buwizz is a joke. Power of the Buwizz lies in providing power source for existing motors with wires, that can be arranged as needed. Single block with 3 motors is a major stepback.
True. BuWizz will still be better for most applications even if the new motor matches its power. By the way, thank you for still being around on my channel even after my extremely long period of inactivity
