Thanks for the video it helped me choose the 10” bought 2 of them and let me say that these speakers are really really good and they rival more expensive speakers if anybody are thinking about getting these I highly recomend alto
Many wise opinions regarding the choice of speakers, but the location also plays a role, if it is outdoors one (or more) larger speakers are often required, if the room is filled with many people, it is the same. If there are many people talking, there are completely different requirements than if a small group sits down and quietly listens to your performance. This is my own experience that sometimes it takes more speakers than you think for it to be good. It is better to have several scattered on lower power than a few on high power. How much do the speakers cost in your country in Euros or dollars?Outside with lawn and bushes is different to in a city with concrete houses.
Very informative review thank you. I've been using TS310s for about 4 years now and think I'm going to have to upgrade soon, so I've been torn between the 410 or downsizing to the 408. I think you've helped me decide to go for the 408. I sing using full backing tracks and some karaoke tracks and have always liiked the sound of the 310, do you think buying 408s would be a good decision for me?
Great video! I'm looking for a pair of speakers to use as a stereo keyboard amp/monitor solution on stage with my band. Do you think the 2x8" speakers would provide enough bass for my keyboard? I play mostly Hammond organ, and piano. A store close to me actually has the TS310 on sale (because of the newer TS410) for $100 less than the TS408's, but the Bluetooth might be useful, and the less I have to carry and store the better :) Would appreciate your thoughts! Thanks again
does TS408 have basic effects like echo/reverb, chorus etc.? If not onboard - can this be done via the app? I think Alto Busker have Alexis FX that has reverb. Not sure if Alto Busker app and TS408 app is the same app?
Thanks for the comparison! I would be interested in the TS408, but I have seen comments on the net that the Alto speakers give a lot of problems and break frequently. I would like to know what your experience with Alto speakers in this regard. Thank you!
Hi, I’ve heard that too but in my experience I had no problems and also other musicians I know using alto speakers after years of use are happy and had no problems.
You are comparing two different alto products, it should be the ts410 vs ts408. The ts410 will smoke bother of them together. It's worth the extra $40 bucks for the alto ts410
I use a stomp box pedal that runs the vocal and guitar through the pedal and then into the speaker would you recommend I do the speaker switch line or mic?
Hi. I am in a 5 piece band drum, bass, guitar, keyboard, lead vocals. Are 2 TS408's good enough as a PA for small pub gigs? Soul, pop, blues. Only lead vocals, background vocals and keyboard use the PA. Thanks Steven
Great comparison! Thank you. I am very interested in an 8" box but I wonder how well it would handle a bass guitar at a moderate volume to support an acoustic bluegrass band.
Thanks. That would be interesting to test, from one side 8inch and bass are two words that not really go together but from the other side the moderate volume can give some chances and maybe reserve some surprises. If you’ll have a chance do try it let me know how it works 🙂
That's peak 1000 rms new ones 2500 peak 1250 rms they're powerful for sure way more powerful than jbl 715 which is only 1300 peak and 650 rms my 12 in alto was more powerful than my eon 715
Because every company in the world states peak power ratings along side RMS, which is listed at 1000W on these wIth 650 to the woofer and 350 to the tweeter.

On a different subject, that is some beautiful guitar playing, Francesco!
Thanks Francesco, super useful :)
thanks for the video, I bought a pair few months ago, now I´m specting the subwofer wich its the perfect companion...

Agree, also about having more than one instead of one only big source of amplification if you can. In Uk it’s about £310.
@@FrancescoNasone Thanks, in Sweden its GBP 330.
I used 4 TS408 2x2 at a marketplace with 1 TS12S subwoofer; it was loud and clear

can i connect yamaha keyboard with this speaker?

Between the two would you say overall volume much different ?

Nice.Does it have microphone input and mic input?

Is true power suply 900 Watt, so many energy?
I wonder how these compare to the cp8 or even the k8.2
I have k8s, My friend will be receiving his 408 (non blue tooth) tomorrow. We'll be comparing this Friday. Maybe I'll post a video on the comparison.
@waynemiller6070 hey did you guys did any comparison video?
Vorrei acquistarla ma meglio la 408 o la 410? Per karaoke?
I use a stomp box pedal that runs the vocal and guitar through the pedal and then into the speaker would you recommend I do the speaker switch line or mic?
does it have reverb option?
I want to make a powerful dj set up with 2 18” subs and 4 8” tops I like the 8 punchy and powerful I have the new ts18s

Hi! If the gig volume is not too loud they can works! It depends also from the kind of music that you play…
@@FrancescoNasone we use a stagepass 500 now. It is enough. But broken. 8 inch is very small.....
Is Alto408 good for DJ an event for up to 70 - 100people?
There good for ceremonies
@@AbigailGraceFundora thank you
Thanks for the video. Is TS 408 flat response like Headrush 108?
I’ve seen some musician using the headrush and it should be quite similar to alto but I never tested it personally.
They’re the same exact speaker. Made by same company for both.
We just need a battery on alto speakers

I would use sn extra sub speaker with the top; filter on ofcourse or you might blow up the top
Is the Alto TS408 good for singing?
Yes it works fine for vocals.
@@FrancescoNasone Thanks, thinking of getting one!
10" sounds better on vocals
Ts408 is a 8 inch also and not 10 inch like you said

2000 watts 😂. Why would these companies do this kind of false advertising? I would never buy one with those kind of BS stats.

The new alto ts15 has 800 watts to the sub eon715 only 300 trust me it shows up when they are pushed not even close alto way more powerful
I don't know how alto can mislead people with 2000w, shame on you alto, 127db, corresponds to a maximum of 400w
