as a mini author heres a short story for all you cottagecore-lovers:
She gasped, breathing in as a rush of cool autumn breeze passed through her hair, nose, and into her lungs. She cheered and smiled, finally free as her long golden hair danced in the wind, a waltz with nature. To most she was a myth, thought to bring good luck and harmony with her bright smile, booming confidence, and shining bravery. It stopped everyone in their tracks.
She let go of the reins on her horse and flew her arms upward, taking it all in. The earth called her name, the trees bowed to her, and the clouds danced beside her. It was a sight to behold. Her long and flowy dress flew behind her in rythym as she came to a hault. This was her spot, a perfect clearing where she observed the woman she was so fond of. The way the other woman crafted in the clearing and tended to the animals that had come from all over just to hear her songs.
Our myth tied her steed to a branch, whispering softly, "Stay here, Bee." She gave a small smile and pet his snout, rushing in and hiding behind a tree, right on time. She held her breath, thinking if she let out a singular sigh the woman would disappear. As she did so, the woman sat on her knees and fluffed out her dress as she began toying with some flowers and sticks, beginning her song. Myth leaned against the tree, enchanted by the woman.
"I know you're there, miss surreal." The woman hummed. She jumped slightly and looked around as the woman glanced up at her before patting the ground in front of her. "Please, come sit. Don't be a stranger." She smiled, pulling out a picnic basket.
Myth made her way over, wearily, before sitting in front of the woman. "Hello." She started, with a small laugh. It was like music to Myth's ears. "I- well- hello.." Our Myth smiled, picking at the grass.
"I made something for you," She stated, picking up a crown made of dandelions as she placed it delicately on Myth's head. "We're similar in size so I just made one based off of one of mine!" She snickered, pulling out an apple cinnamon pie. "Hungry?"
Myth nodded and twiddled her thumbs as the woman began setting everything up.
"I'm Iris." The woman grinned, picking a stick out of Myths hair.
"I'm..Heren.., but everyone calls me a Myth so.. I've just decided to use that instead, nobody really calls me Heren." She smiled sadly.
"Well, Heren, I say we get to know each other a bit better. Does that sound alright with you? Considering you're this magical legend everyone's been so fond of recently and I know absolutely nothing about you, plus you spy on me, I think that'd be fair." Iris snickered and fell on her back. Myth followed after, "Soo...what do we talk about?" She folded her hands over her stomach as Iris gleamed. "Absolutely anything."

She was running with her baby dog towards the woods behind her house while eating berries, she fell, looked up at the blue sky, her dog started licking her, she laughed hard, she closed her eyes happy.
She opened her eyes, realizing that she was back in her dark room, grabbing a phone in quarantine, with no friends, no berries, no woods, no blue sky, only the blue light of her phone in her face.
This hits harder than I'd like to admit...

Well hey, think ok the happy thoughts. Don't think of the negative. You should be happy that you have a good life and keep it that way. I want all of you guys to be happy with your life you live in. Besides, that might happen to you in the future as long as you try and work hard. :)
