The main difference is the inclusions each of them contains: while Tibetan Quartz holds naturally carbon and manganese, Lodolite aka Garden Quartz holds a mix of hematite, chlorite or even feldspar and sometimes other minerals :)
It depends on how saturated with Chlorite and other inclusions it is it can be fully saturated and opaque. I actually prefer the more fully saturated and opaque pieces
