Sounds like this principal had inappropriate feelings for her.

Unless there is an all-encompassing moral code of conduct, both on-campus and off, as part of the school's Student CoC, the principal is clearly overstepping his authority.

He should be investigated further. It seems like he had inappropriate feelings towards this student. Why was she singled out, when there are tons of kids in the same video. He printed out Bible verses. What happened to the separation of church and state? The actions of this principle could affect her future earnings potential, if she can't afford to attend college without the scholarship she lost. I hope the family sues, as his actions were egregious.

She was ALSO the schools SGA president. She was verbally told by the the admin that bc of her accolades she was “ the hood ornament of the school “ & bc of that was held to a different standard of example setting among the schools student body than everybody else.
Those other girls didn’t hold the “ accolades” that she apparently did

I wonder, if he had stuck to his guns, if the post Kennedy v. Bremerton School District Supreme Court might not have sided with him. If I can coerce kids into Christian prayers, surely I can choose who to recommend (or not) for scholarships based on my sincere religious beliefs. Yeah, if I were her father, I hired an attorney and make a big law sue case. Let's look at what the principal and the other faculty members did. They stripped her of her achievements, affecting her ability to apply to colleges and scholarships. potentially affecting her whole future. So, in order to now send her family to send her to college. Her family has to pay for it completely out of their pocket. All because she was dancing and enjoying herself at a private party off school property. So yeah the her family should sue that school to get the money to send her in a college.
