- I FOUND AN AWESOME FILIPINO CHEF IN QUEZON PROVINCE, AND MET SO MANY GRAT PEOPLE WHILE EXPLORING BONDOC PENINSULA...
Taking the Peninsula Road instead of rocking the highway to Bicol, I found myself exploring various towns like Catanauan, Mulanay, and San Francisco. The coastlines here are beautiful, and the charming old ancestral towns make this an awesome place to motor. I had so much fun meeting locals in Catanauan, who taught me some local expressions!
While passing through San Francisco... yes there is a San Francisco in the Philippines. I found an awesome little cafe with a Filipino chef who used to work overseas. He came back and has been rocking it here at home.
Bondoc Peninsula is certainly a wonderful place to explore on motor.

That's one of the beauty when you travel in the Philippines: friendly, warm, and helpful people. Even if you struggle speaking their language, the locals will take time to fill you in with helpful info. You will never get lost as you can communicate with everybody.

For me, Quezon takes the cake for trully being one of the most beautiful provinces and rich culture.

There is a Visayan dialect in that town that is related to Romblonanon. The first inhabitants of the Southern seaside barangays of that town are Visayans.

@becomingfilipino kulas, for a faster emersion, adaptation, and eventually learning the dialects, seek advice from kumar and jundee. bcoz now you have to talk more on dialects for the vlogs, but you need to know and understand and see the differences...say, the english language like past, present, present participle, future tense, and future progressive tenses, and the filipino language counterpart for those....i think those are the basics...heheh...enjoy the rest of the trip brad!
